This is the retirement community for stopgap!rpg's first installment game play. Premise was a post-hogwarts Trio Era setting in the year 2003. We ran from December 28, 2009 - February 28, 2010. Currently thedepository is being used to futher explore the characters and relationships developed during the two month game play.

Game play is open to all - even those who didn't participate in the original set up. If interested in joining feel free to do so. Community is open membership and welcome random play opportunities.

stopgap! is a Harry Potter based random-play community. Unlike other role-playing games this community is structured to allow for short-term character exploration. Players who are interested in participating volunteer for a slot on the character roster. The moderator's then assign a character (preferably one the player has never played before) and players are then responsible for bringing the newly birthed muse to life.

Game play per-genre (trio era, maurauder, future gen) lasts approximately two months. At the end of the two month run we switch to a new cast and game premise. Players have the freedom to take their now fitted characters to an alternative game and/or continuing storylines in private-storyline form.

In theory this rpg is structured to allow for creative writing. It also encourages a place where people can try on new muses without fear of being judged. Friendly players and anyone interested in writing please read on! We're currently playing a 1980 MWPP War Era Game.
