Cafeteria food. Again. If it weren't for the fact that Blaise only had 25 minutes to eat, there would be no way in hell he would touch the meals that were supposed to pass for edible in the cafeteria. To someone with his expensive palate it was practically unthinkable. But when you're working a double-shift and haven't eaten since breakfast sometimes you have to take what you can get. Giving the lump of meat on his tray a look of disdain he ventured into the dining area, trying to avoid the hopeful smiles from fellow trainee, Samantha.
And there, like a beacon of promise in an otherwise crap day, was Tracey. He thought that she had left the hospital hours before. The perfect excuse to avoid his coworkers and not sit at an empty table (which seemed to encourage the nicer trainees to come over and make small talk). Blaise made his way over to where she sat and slid into the seat across from her.
"Hello Trace. I didn't know you were going to be here tonight."
