“Well the nose would be so…satisfying, knock the sneer off of his face,” Aurin replied under his breath before he turned his attention back towards the Mage there with him. “I wouldn’t do it unless he deserves it.” He added after a moments more of thought.
His frown deepened though as he listened to his old friend. “…just talk? Your sure?” He asked slowly as he slowly folded his arms over his chest to regard the smaller figure of the woman mage standing in front of him. “Look Beth…” His voice was slow and quiet as he spoke. “…I just don’t want you to get into trouble because of someone else alright? I know how you are.” His lips quirked into a smile at that. “Yes though, I know how some of the apprentices get, and how some of my Brothers can get with them too. I hope you’re right and its just steam though.”
A frown crossed his face again though before he let a soft and gusty sigh escape. Constans can convince her of anything, he’s almost sure of it. The thing that killed him the most though is the fact that whatever he said about it wouldn’t make a difference in the least to her point of view.
He was about to open his mouth to try though when he found himself fixed with the Ultimate Weapon in Beth’s arsenal of tricks.
Doe-Eyes of Doom
“I…” His words trailed off though as she spoke, he /should/ tell her about his suspicions about Constans. He should try again to convince her just /how/ bad that man is.
He /should/ have done a lot of things. However instead he caved like a wet paper bag.
“Alright Beth, alright. I promise I won’t say anything about all of this…just. Take care of yourself alright? If anything does happen, if someone does do something bad just come find and tell me about it alright?”
