Ducking through the masses Æolyn noticed the blonde dwarf she'd been watching coming her direction. She saw him nod her through, signaling safety in the direction she was heading. She saw the elbow coming his direction and opened her mouth to warn him, but she wasn't fast enough. It struck him and she grimaced, ducking as a throw missed its intended target. On the outside of the fray she stopped and turned back to see what exactly was going on. By now, more people were involved than was entirely necessary. A small dispute started by a stupid drunk had turned into an all out brawl and she didn't see an end in sight. She hadn't seen the drunks that started it but guessed that they had either weaseled their way out or were somewhere on the floor unconscious. All she knew is that things were escalating quickly.
It was only a matter of seconds that she looked away from the fight towards the door, but in that instant something happened. She felt a pulse of magic from somewhere in the room and quickly turned to look back and see what had happened. She hadn't been the one to use which meant that there was another mage in the room somewhere and that could be trouble. Most of the fighting men had been stunned away from one area and Lyn had to blink to make sure she wasn't seeing things when her saw the person in the middle. It was a dwarf, someone she'd noticed sitting at the bar when she'd come in but hadn't paid any attention to, wishing now she had. Lyn had never seen a dwarf mage in her entire life and seeing one now was like watching a dog walk on its hind legs.
She stood in shock for a moment more before realizing that everyone was slowly trying to get to their feet and looking as if they weren't going to end this fight anytime soon. Her eyes grew a bit wide at first and she acted before thinking, making her way to the dwarf in the middle of the fallen men and kneeling beside him. "I think we should get you out of here..." she said quickly, helping him to a standing position. She looked towards the door and her heart quickly sank. Already people were moving to block them in and she feared either of them having to use magic again.
