Thais brought a hand up to fix her hair as she walked when there was sudden rustling and one of the scouts appeared. The scout spoke quickly and Thais stepped to the side as Dee came over to Templar Alderic and Bethen. The mage looked over at the dwarven male. She waited to see what he would do. Having him walk in front, she had become accustomed to the rather commanding, suave way he swaggered along the path. It made up for his small stature and had gained her respect in the past day of walking.
She blinked at his sudden command to go. Thais glanced at the wagon before looking at those that began to follow the dwarf. As Beth strode past to begin to follow the group, Thais glanced at Lucressia and then at Constans. She seemed uncertain for a moment, before taking the staff that was strapped to her back. Turning away, the woman swiftly followed the group.
As they reached the scene, Thais passed by Bethen and Dee. She gave a small nod to Beth as she did so before walking a few paces diagonally to the side of the fray. Thais hoped all of the bandits were much too busy to notice a mage off to the side, beyond that she did not worry what could come of her. Focusing her energy, she gazed at the skirmish before tilting her staff towards it. There were so many people involved, it would be helpful if there was a moment of calm. A small ball of light flew from her staff into the crowded battle, sending a wave of sleep over those battling. The spell was focused for the hostile bandits, but it was possible that it could also hit one of the companions in the area. The lethargy created by the magic would only last as long until the bandits were hit, but she trusted all her companions needed was one hit to take the hostiles down.
