The moment was painfully awkward, at least on Beth's part. Though she had, in fact, been present in the room first, she still felt a bit like an intruder. It wasn't an uncommon experience for her; no one in the Tower was ever truly alone and everyone knew that as a fact of life, but she'd developed an uncanny knack for walking in at the wrong moment, a quality that won her few friends among her peers. No harm had been done here, but she felt herself being studied and that made her all the more nervous, and force her smile to be even broader. She waved a hand to dismiss the apology, "Oh, no, not at all. Actually, I was afraid that I had been interrupting you two."
"In any case, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Miss Falina, and you as well, ser," replied the woman, taking her own turn to cross her arms and bow at both of them in respect. It hardly occurred to her at all that Falina would view her with any sort of deference, and she knew where mages stood on the social ladder to those from Ferelden. Friendly as this warrior was, he had to be of some status to be invited as a guest of the Wardens, and she didn't want to be any more disrespectful toward him than she had already been by listening. Straightening up, she turned first to the dwarf, as she had been the first to speak, "I'm Beth. And...this may sound a bit odd, but I've actually been looking forward to meeting you, miss. Both Lords Coan and Rhocanth spoke very highly of you." She wasn't sure how much the younger woman valued their opinions, but their word certainly meant a lot to Beth, even though she hadn't known them for very long. They were both good people, and she suspected that anyone in positive standing with them were equally wonderful.
She looked up next to the older man, feeling just a little more at ease having exchanged initial formalities. "And I apologize for not having introduced myself to you earlier, Ser...Ordhan, is it? I've been meaning to get to know as many of the Keep's residents as possible, though we always seem to miss one another. But I seem to be quite fortunate at this moment to have found both of you at once." She was practically beaming at this point, hands clasped together. "I don't mean to delay you from your tour, though. It really is a very remarkable structure. I'm still getting used to the layout, but I figured I might start by familiarizing myself with the library."
