honestly guys, I thought I responded to this weeks ago, I didn't realize nothing posted. <33 Sorry!
Falina grinned cheekily, tugging on Ordhan's sleeve. It was nice to be able to touch fabric as opposed to gauntlets, and her fingers hadn't yet grown fully accustomed to traveling with unarmored companions. The tug was likely harsher than she intended, and she apologetically smoothed the sleeve. "That's a joke, Ordhan. She doesn't really want us to call her anything insulting."
It was funny that Beth had chosen to offer such a sentiment, so soon after Falina had teasingly done the same. It was certainly nothing overtly mischievous, but the girl decided she liked that about Bethen. Her face was pretty, her stature proper, but there was still a twinkle of something beneath the surface. The woman was no statue, and Falina smiled broadly at her. "Beth it is."
Her stomach flopped oddly at the woman's praise of Rhocanth, unsure how to really respond. Falina hadn't been there to see it, and they weren't really talking about Rho, just merely mentioning him as a shared connection. "He's a good friend. He was nothing but determined to give me a happy one. And I did... so thank you for your role in it." Falina bowed her head nervously, a polite gesture that seemed jerky even to her.
"Magi? Are you a mage? Why can't they leave by themselves?" She furrowed her brows quickly, but smoothed her expression as she canted her head to listen as Beth continued. It was conversation directed to Ordhan, and it was perhaps rude of her to interject, but this was one of the surface matters that made little sense to her. Even in the Brecilian Forest, Templar and Mage relations were hardly explained, merely glossed over in the wake of such an extreme situation. "I haven't been in the city. Is it like the one that you're from?"
