Coan Bryland ; the ferelden noble (coan) wrote in thedas,
He'd met Beth only once, and briefly, but having already started writing the letter he promised to send if she didn't show up at Amaranthine, he already felt rather close to her - maybe even a little protective - so he was kind of relieved when Brannan turned his attention to Mirelle. He knew how ridiculous and patronizing that was, especially not knowing her as well as he could. Beth could probably take care of herself - she'd fended his cousins off well enough as it was, but he knew Brannan, and he really didn't want his relentless Rowe inherited flirtation to overwhelm her.
"I think it's easy to wander here." He looked around again, obviously anxious to see it all before they had to leave again. "There's so much to see, and wonder often takes control of the feet in new places." He hadn't quite made it around yet, but was hoping he would before the end of the day.
"Beth, you've been here a while longer than me." Brannan broke in, then. "I was going to take Coan on the grand tour, myself, but maybe you could show the three of us around, instead?" He gestured and smiled wide in request. "If you have the time, I mean. While I've seen plenty around, I haven't had the chance of actually speaking with a mage until now, unlike Coan here. I would love to know more about you."
"Don't let him talk you into anything you're not up for," Coan looked back to Beth, shaking his head and rolling his eyes. If Brannan kept it up, his eyes were probably going to fall out of his head. "That silver tongue of his needs to hear a 'no' every once in a while to keep him in line."
