Part One: Secret Who: Thais Keigwin and Senior Enchanter Orestes Where: Circle Tower [of course] When: 9:41 Parvulis Summary: Thais gets closer to Senior Enchanter Orestes in a most peculiar way. Rating: X [sexy tiemz, bondage, stares, etc] Part One of Five
The door shut behind them. It was a soft sound, the clicking of the lock faint but noticeable in the silence. Thais stared around the bedroom. Her heart was racing. She hadn’t expected to go this fast. The woman thought it would have taken a few weeks before getting to this point. She would’ve been glad things were working out so well, but something was nagging at her mind, telling her to leave. Things were going too well.
Her gaze flickered to the desk where stacks of documents lay. She licked her lower lip. Among those must be something important, something the Libertarians would be able to take and use. Maybe she would even be able to get the man to tell her something. She didn’t expect the latter but simply being this close she was bound to find something. Her thoughts halted as the man stepped right behind her. She steadied her breathing as he placed a hand on her waist. Looking down to the ground, she whispered, “Senior Enchanter Orestes… Don’t you think this is a bit fast?” Her muscles tensed as the hand moved lower down her waist.
“Don’t play coy. I know why you came to talk to me.” The tone was sharp yet soft at the same time, like a reprimanding school teacher. He walked around her, his hand gliding along her bottom. Thais took a deep breath. Her heart felt like it was going to leap out her throat at any second.
“Oh?” She asked, raising her eyebrows at the senior enchanter, “You do?” Thais crossed her arms in front of her chest. Orestes smirked at her. He reached out placing a hand on her arm. His fingers slid down to grip her elbow before he nodded. She could feel the strength of his fingertips through the fabric of her robe.
“I do.” He stated simply. His gaze surveyed her, “I want you.” Thais felt her muscles become tenser. She opened her mouth to respond but no words came out. She hadn’t met a man who was so willing so quickly... At least not one this old and supposedly experienced. Couldn’t a Senior Enchanter of such standing tell that she was obviously trying to use him for information? Apparently her gaping mouth was amusing as the man chuckled. He brought a finger up, tapping underneath her chin, “But I have rules and I expect them to be followed. You are able to follow rules, correct?”
Thais was confused. She desperately tried to figure out what the man could mean. Rules? What kind of rules? Thais figured the rules must mean keeping things a secret or something of that nature. That kind of agreement was often made even though Thais always broke it in the end. Hesitantly, she nodded in affirmation.
“Wonderful.” The man drawled, his index finger tracing her jaw line. He tucked back a strand of her hair, “If you follow all of my rules this will remain a secret between only us. If you break my rules or make me unhappy, I will tell the other Senior Enchanters as well as the First Enchanter what you have been up to.”
Thais took a quick step back, “Excuse me?” She asked, an incredulous expression upon her features, “What exactly will you tell them?” She placed a hand over her chest. Even though she was clothed, she felt as if Orestes’ sharp gaze could see right through the fabric.
“I’m not an apprentice, Enchanter. I know what females such as yourself do, how they rise up in politics using what the maker gave them… How you find your information and get important documents from important people…” He ran the very tips of his fingers along Thais’s covered collarbone. She felt a shiver run through her body. “Really, you’re not all that subtle, but that’s okay. I don’t judge you for it… at least not if you indulge me correctly.” Orestes chuckled, “And of course you could deny it, but I have faith Irving would believe me over a young seductress such as yourself.” Thais felt her insides twist at the smug smirk upon the man’s lips. She knew he was right. Irving would believe Orestes in a second, especially since it was all true… humiliating to be said out loud, but true. And now Orestes had the benefit of anecdotal proof willingly handed to him. In the situation of ‘he said, she said’, she knew her words held no power compared to Orestes‘. Thais quickly found regret overtaking her. Orestes stepped closer, his hand brushing against her neck, “Now now, no need to look so worried. I said that I would tell only if you make me unhappy. So just keep me happy and there will be no problem.”
Thais stared with wide eyes at the man. The young woman was stunned by what was unfolding. A few seconds of silence passed. She nodded in defeat. Thais hoped that whatever Orestes had in mind, it wouldn’t be too terrible. Just a quick in-out and be done with it… maybe she could even sneak out a document or two while he slept. She tried to relax as his fingers found their way to the collar of her robes. A gentle tug forced her up against the man‘s body. She gazed off to the side, unable to look at his face. There was no doubt an arrogant expression upon his aged features.
“I want you to come back here tomorrow night at this time.” His hands ran along the sides of her waist. He gripped at her hips, “I am not a terrible man.” Thais stared at the pile of papers on the desk. “If you do not come tomorrow, I will forget this took place and we will go about our lives without mention of it. If you do come… then you will agree to the rules I will set out.” Thais frowned lightly, feeling very confused about the whole situation. Her thoughts halted as he suddenly grabbed hold of her jaw. With a rough jerk, he forced her to look up. She gasped lightly. The man leaned down. He kissed her lips. The kiss was fairly short and Thais felt betrayed by her own body that her pulse quickened at the simple gesture. Orestes pulled away first and took a couple steps back. He waved at her to go. Thais numbly obeyed, too stunned to do anything else. She left the room with a dazed expression and confused thoughts.
-----
Thais found herself spending the next day in anticipation. It seemed foolish to go see Orestes again, yet, she couldn’t help but be curious. If anything, if she didn’t show up she had no clue if Orestes would still hold to his word or not. She couldn’t concentrate on anything that day. Numerous times Athanael had asked her where her mind was. He didn’t seem to believe her excuse of poor sleep, but didn’t push the issue. After the fifth time of accidentally freezing her own hands, Athanael let her go for the evening.
Thais rushed to her room to clean up. It was almost time. She changed her robes into tighter-fitting ones and put her hair up in a loose bun. A few curls fell to frame her face. Checking herself in her mirror, Thais took a deep breath. She murmured to her reflection, “Am I really about to do this?” Her eyes flickered as she surveyed her own features. Despite all the bad feelings nibbling at her mind, the closer it got to being time the more adrenaline rushed through her body. Simply considering going was already such a thrill, she couldn’t deny wanting to see how much the excitement would increase if she went. She licked her lips and twirled a curl before turning away from the mirror and heading off to Orestes’ quarters.
She avoided bumping into any other Senior Enchanters on her way. It was lucky that Orestes’ chambers were so far from most of the other Enchanters’ dorms. When she reached the door, she closed her eyes composing herself before lightly rapping on the door. A familiar voice told her to come in.
Once inside, she glanced around. The room was the same as the night before. Orestes was sitting at his desk, scribbling on a piece of parchment. The man was in dark robes, layers upon layers of black that made him look like a living shadow. Thais stood near the closed door, anxiously wringing her hands as she waited.
“Take off your clothes.” He demanded, and it was a demand. Thais stared, confused. Orestes was still sitting on the desk not looking at her. The man seemed to know she had a confused expression, “I don’t play around in circles, Enchanter. You came, so you’re going to have to follow my orders without hesitation.” Thais opened her mouth but no words came out.
“Now, I’ll repeat myself only once more, take off your clothes.” Thais felt numb as she stared at Orestes. The man really was different than any other she knew. Most would have laid with her last night in a possibly passionate love affair, but that would have been the end of it. It was already odd that she was in his chamber for a second night in a row. Thais hesitantly brought a hand to her waistband. She unclipped it and set it on a nearby chair. Orestes finally turned around. He watched with a surveying look as if he was judging a piece of artwork. Thais continued. She laid the robes neatly on the chair. Slipping off her shoes, she set the flats to the side. Standing in her undergarments, she shivered at the cold in the room. Orestes’s lips pursed together and he twirled a finger in a circle, “Turn around. Slowly.” Thais did. The man’s tongue clicked softly as she did so. He raised a hand when she made a complete circle. “Okay, stop.” Orestes swiftly stood up and walked over to a dresser at the other end of the room, “Take off the rest.”
Thais hesitated again before slipping the undergarments off. Luckily, the hesitation wasn’t seen as the man was preoccupied looking through dresser drawers. Sighing, she held her hands in front of herself trying to cover her body the best she could. She was accustomed to being exposed with men, but not in such a cold, neutral manner. It felt unnatural. Orestes was pulling items out from the dresser. Her eyebrows rose as the surface of the dresser soon became covered in various devices. Orestes turned to look at her, “Come here... And stop hiding yourself like a young girl.” Thais did so, dropping her hands to her sides and walking over to stand beside him. She felt self-conscious but tried to keep her attention to the display on the dresser.
Her eyes widened and cheeks flushed as she saw the wide-range of items. Different types of whips, blades, leather harnesses, some folded latex material, and things she didn’t even know how to describe. Her gaze lingered on a small blade that looked as if it was meant to cut through bone. It was a circular blade and had a smooth black handle. Orestes must have noticed her eyeing it because he picked it up a second later. He lightly ran the blade along the tip of his index finger. It made a red imprint but didn’t draw blood.
Thais quietly spoke up, “What are all these?” Orestes smoothly reached out and ran the blade along Thais’s collarbone. She barely felt the skin slice open, almost as if the man had swiped the edge of a document against her. Small drops of blood rose up from where the blade had touched. She brought a hand up, pressing a couple fingers over the new wound, “What are you…” She gasped, but stopped her words as she noticed the man’s frown. As soon as she stopped talking, the frown disappeared.
Orestes didn’t look concerned as Thais stared at the blood trickling from the small cut, “These are tools.” He responded in a conversational tone, “And whenever you address me, you will call me Senior Enchanter.” He tapped the blade against the fingertips she held at her collarbone, “Or else I’ll have to remind you to.”
Thais stared, her mind whirring. She had heard about this sort of thing before. It had a type of name but she couldn’t remember. A past lover of hers had mentioned it but hadn’t gone into much detail. She had only played with ropes and ribbons before and knew nothing else beyond the pure act of lust. Despite Orestes demanding nature and his almost clinical attitude, Thais found herself intrigued. Despite the cold nipping at her skin and the unnatural feelings surrounding the situation, her cheeks had a rosy flush and her heart was beating with excitement. He seemed to know exactly what he was doing. She liked that.
She reached out, glancing at Orestes to see if he would tell her not to do so. He didn’t say anything so she continued, she picked up the folded layers of latex. She had just started to unfold it when Orestes spoke up, “Put it on.” Thais’s eyes widened once more as she saw that it was a boned corset with dangerous looking hooks on various spots. Orestes repeated himself, annoyance in his tone the second time, “Put it on.” She wrapped the material around her waist. It was already laced in the back and she simply had to loop a vertical row of clips at the front to make it fit. Thais sharply inhaled as she hooked the last clip. Her stomach was compressed and it felt as if a lasso had suddenly been pulled tight around her waist. Cold metal hooks tapped against her thighs and ass. She wondered what they were for. Her wandering thoughts were suddenly snapped back to attention when she felt a sharp pain on her shoulder. Orestes had roughly pinched her skin between his fingers. He had a glare upon his face, “Do not daydream. I want you to be here, in the room, with only me. Now, step away from the dresser.”
She obeyed, taking a small step back. Orestes brought his attention to the display of items. His long fingers traced over them, yet his gaze was on Thais as if he knew each item by touch alone. She felt an involuntary blush rise up in her cheeks. Thais wanted to know what he was going to choose. He suddenly picked up a slender black whip. It was short and looked light. Orestes held the whip for a second before gripping it tightly in a fist. “Turn around.” Shock flashed over Thais’s expression before quickly disappearing. She gulped, slowly turning around. Her gaze stayed on the whip, watching it. “Bend over.” She took a deep breath, bringing her gaze to the front. It took her a moment to swallow her self-consciousness before following the order. Thais realized what was happening, but she had no place to disobey. Orestes had already made it clear that he disliked hesitation and it was too late to turn back from the situation now. She knew he would follow through on his threat of going to First Enchanter… and if her antics were found out, she would quickly lose her apprenticeship with Athanael. A small part of her also was anxious for what was about to happen. She wondered what it would feel like.
Flexible, Thais easily hinged at the hips to touch the ground with her fingers, making a neat upside-down V shape with her body. As she heard the man step forward, her muscles tensed. She didn’t get a chance to prepare herself anymore as in the next second there was a whistling sound and a crack upon her bottom. A pained cry left her lips. She went to stand back up in reaction but Orestes’ sharp voice made her stop, “Stay where you are.” Thais gasped. There was a burning where a welt was quickly rising. She bit her lower lip holding back a sob. Hot tears had sprung to her eyes. She stayed in the position, her body quivering from shock. The whistling sounded again. There was a loud crack as it met her skin once more. This one caused her to cry out louder and tears began to roll down her flushed cheeks. Despite her crying, she didn’t move. She sniffled trying to collect her composure. As the pain dulled, she felt Orestes’ fingers running along the welts. She gasped at the renewed pain of his finger pressing against the raw skin. Closing her eyes tightly, she steadied her breathing as the cold fingertips continued to run along the fresh welts.
A gasp left her lips when Orestes’ finger suddenly slipped inside her sex. Gripping at her ankles, she tried not to move. The finger lazily felt around before curving on its way out. Thais attempted not to moan but couldn’t hold back. The finger was joined by another on the second time…. And then by a third. Each time he pulled out, the fingers curved, pressing against her inner walls. Her moaning became louder as the fingers continued their agonizing work. He was going fairly slow, taking his time on each movement.
Thais knew the whole situation was messed up. She was being blackmailed by an older Senior Enchanter. A Senior Enchanter she had only pursued in hopes of manipulating him. She knew she shouldn‘t like what was happening, but she found herself beginning to engage in the situation. She was enjoying not to have to be initiative like she was use to. The orders were simple enough... So far. Orestes was clear in his directions. Even the demanding tone he took didn’t seem terrible. The pain that nipped at her only increased her sensitivity and she was quickly realizing the potential behind such a thing.
Suddenly, Orestes smacked her bottom with his hand. Her eyes snapped open at the stinging pain. “I said do not daydream!” The man’s palm hit the same spot again. This time the impact almost made her topple over. She let go of her ankles and put her hands on the floor to avoid falling. Thais braced herself for another slap, but none came. She saw the man’s feet walk back to the dresser.
“Stand up and turn around.” Thais did. As soon as she was standing again, she stared at Orestes with wide eyes. Her face was flushed and her cheeks wet from fallen tears. She glanced at Orestes’ hands, trying to keep track of where they were going. The corset around her waist refused to let her breath now. She hitched little intakes of breath. Her heart stopped for a second as the man picked up a pair of leather wrist braces. He tapped them against the edge of the dresser, considering all his options. After a long moment he walked back over with them. His expression had an amused glint in his eyes and the shadow of a smirk at the corner of his mouth. Without saying anything, he snapped the braces on her wrists then pulled her hands behind her. Thais couldn’t see what he was doing and when he finally stepped away, she couldn’t tell if anything was different. At least until she realized she couldn’t move her hands back to her sides. Glancing over her shoulder, she saw that her wrists had been attached with the braces to one of the hooks on the corset. She snapped her gaze back to Orestes, opening her mouth but once again speechless. The man smirked, “You really need to stop making that face…” He began to walk very slowly around her, his gaze roving over her body, “Though… it is nice of you to let me know how wide your mouth can go.” Thais closed her mouth quickly in response causing Orestes to laugh.
Thais tried to keep her breathing steady but it was near impossible as she could only sneak small gasps in. She was beginning to feel dizzy. Orestes had sat down on the bed behind her. He seemed to be in thought, perhaps imagining all the things he could do to her at the moment. Thais looked up to the ceiling. The shadows created by the candles in the room danced about before blurring together.
Her eyelids fluttered. How long had he been sitting on that bed? It felt like forever. The muscles in her arms felt tight from being held back in place. Her waist cried for freedom from the boned prison. There was a dull throbbing pain on the welts from the whip before. The cut on her collarbone was barely noticeable in comparison. She shut her eyes.
The next moment a stinging pain caused her to snap back to attention. Her gaze darted around, taking a moment to refocus. She stared right at Orestes, who had suddenly appeared in front of her. Looking down, she saw the source of the pain was him simply holding her wrist. It felt as if light electric jolts were sparking from his fingers into her flesh. She frowned. The wrist braces were off? When did that happen?
Thais gasped as Orestes began undoing the corset. His expression was one of impatience and frustration. Thais was confused. What was going on? Did something happen? Did he put her under a spell? As if he could read her thoughts, Orestes spoke up, “You are weaker than I expected.” He undid the last snap, freeing Thais from the confines. She instantly took a deep intake of air. Her body relaxed at the relief. She almost leaned against Orestes but he stepped away before she could. Trying to keep herself standing, she placed a hand on her stomach. It felt sore as if a bruise was rising around her waist.
“Get dressed and go.” Orestes said in a steady voice, “I want you back here in two nights, same time. Try to do some breathing exercises between now and then.” He was putting the items from the dresser away into drawers. Thais stared, before slowly moving over to her clothes. Orestes snapped at her to hurry up. As soon as she was clothed, she made sure her face was no longer streaked with tears.
Once presentable, she left with no more words to Orestes. The second she stepped out of the room, she felt dizzy. Did that all just happen? She stepped down the empty hallway. Her awareness of the surroundings seemed to be in a fog. She automatically made her way back to her room, not noticing much more than her own thoughts. From Orestes demand of her coming back, it was apparent this was not a one-time deal. She wondered why he didn’t do more to her. Thais tried not to think about that he may have and she just couldn’t remember. Her body didn’t feel any different though. She would know if he had taken advantage of her while she was unconscious… or at least she assumed she would. Regardless, the night had been interesting and while her body was already sore, she could also feel an excitement that was on a different level than any excitement she had felt before in her life.
-----
Thais spent the next few days, confused yet enamored with what was happening. Her visits to Orestes’ room had started becoming surprisingly regular, once a week. She spent her nights feeling somewhere between a young girl with a crush and a wife cheating with the gardener. It was important she looked presentable to the Senior Enchanter at all times, even when she had no intention of seeing him. Just the idea that she would pass him in the halls caused her to spend those extra minutes in front of the mirror and picking out an outfit.
She was learning to bear the painful wounds that never seemed to heal in time for her tutoring lessons. At first it was difficult not to grimace every time she sat down on a chair or become dizzy when practicing particularly strenuous spells. Yet, Thais was certain Athanael had no idea what was going on. He was surprised with her sudden interest in herbalism, but he taught Thais what he knew anyways without question. She was more concerned that she had never bumped into a Senior Enchanter on the way to Orestes‘ room. Thais suspected magic must be involved or Orestes went around requesting people to be out of the area at certain times. She didn’t really have a time to ask the man. In fact, she never had a moment for small talk with the man. It had gotten to become a routine already. She would enter the room, take off her clothes, set them on the chair neatly. He would take out his ‘tools’ and they would explore. It seemed his goal was to push her limits just until she could no longer hold herself composed. She realized the black-out from her first time was from lack of correct breathing. Thais had learned to control the fainting, able to communicate the boundary and escape it at the last second, but only if Orestes obliged and listened to her request. At times, he seemed to be in upset moods and would just let her faint.
Each visit she found herself becoming better, able to keep a straight posture even after multiple whippings and a corset on. Despite her improvement, Thais wondered if she was doing something wrong. Orestes still had not made the usual passionate act yet and Thais always left in need of satisfaction. She would have resorted to trying to contact the men from her past, but each time she thought about it she also thought about the welts upon her body and the light scars that seemed to have stayed despite her application of salves. It always caused her to handle those frustrating nights alone. However, she always awoke feeling fresh. Even Athanael remarked once on how strangely happy she seemed in the mornings. She told him she had started drinking more tea, but she knew he didn’t believe her.
It hurt to tell her mentor lies, but she couldn’t possibly tell him the truth. He despised Orestes and if he found out what was going on… and that Thais actually seemed to enjoy it in a way… Well, she knew that would be the end of everything. It was for this reason she thought she should try backing out of the agreement with Orestes, but she constantly found herself forgetting to do so and instead becoming even more engaged. Within a few months, Thais was completely addicted to Orestes… or so he thought.
