It wasn't until the full answer was out of Roran's mouth that Elsa realised that this conversation might well prove to bee a deep well information. Adding 'Denerim' and 'Amaranthine' to her list of places in this strange world - probably larger cities since they came first to the girl's mind.
Ah, there, another knot. Biting her teeth together she combed through the pain, momentary though it was. The comb once again running smooth through her hair, the heavy curtain more silky with each passing minute, Elsa composed an answer that would ascertain the answer she wanted. It was just clever guesses combined with a sweet smile, but that had worked before with this strange girl. Hopefully it would again.
"Denerim is the largest city in the country, no? I always dreamt of travelling too... Every day there are new and fascinating sights that meets your eyes, but it grows wearisome too." It was actually the truth. Having no recollections of the ordinary things most people took for granted, the world really was a fascinating thing to Elsa. She did not know if she had once dreamt about travelling, but she was aware that most people did. It seemed to her one of those strange longings that connected most of the people she had talked to - they longed to be somewhere else in the conviction that that other place would be more exiting. Amaranthine was a port city so it had to be by the water, but since Elsa did not know where the coast was, apart from the small stretch of it that she had been washed up upon, it was hard to ask any innocent questions about it. A direct one had to do.
"I've never seen a map of this strange country, Amaranthine is on the coast, yes?"
