Who: Conlan Delaine and Lalin Adain
Where: The edge of the Brecillian Forest
When: 24 Molioris, 9:45 Dragon
Summary: Just after the battle, Two of group 3's Grey Wardens discuss their first fight against dark spawn and other topics
Rating: T for teen (and also for traumatizing by talking to Con about old girlfriends)

It turned out, getting Darkspawn blood out of ones armor was harder then expected. Conlan didn't really feel like tredging through the woods reeking of tainted blood. The blood itself bothered him. He worried about the possibility of any of his companions being poisoned by it. He worried about the darkspawn corpses, because he knew, at least in future battles, they'd never collect them all, and the bodies left to rot would poison the land. He almost shivered at it all. The darkspawn were here, now, they hadn't moved fast enough, and the danger to the elves was that much greater.

Also he still ached from the fight. Certainly, his wounds had long since been seen to, but the heft of his sword and shield, the running, and that time when all the darkspawn piled on him had left him a little sore.

On the plus side, they'd found the elves. Well, they'd found a small group of elves (three counted as a small group right?) It seemed Conlan wasn't the only one having people from his past showing up on this trip.

It certainly had been an interesting day, and it would prove to be even more so. Conlan needed to scrub that much harder because they had a lot to do.
