"Maybe whoever it was you were teaching just wasn't very good with horses...?" She chuckled softly. "Not that I can claim I am or anything..." She listened to Jill explain the terminology she'd used and nodded in understanding, even though the other woman couldn't see her. The average Fereldan had very little interaction with the beasts, and she could see how it might be intimidating. It made things easier for Lillie because she already felt so close to Jill, so easy with her company.
"No... no..." she panicked slightly when Jill shifted in front of her and Lillie momentarily felt like she might fall off the horse. She tightened her arms around her friend a little and smiled sheepishly. "Maybe a little nervous," she admitted. "But I trust you."
Lillie smiled and lifted her head again when Jill turned back and let out a little breath, relaxing slightly. "I find it strange sleeping in a tent too. I'm used to sleeping in a bed. I've never been on the road before this..." It was strange how her return to Ferelden had brought with it so many new things. Things she would have never imagined herself doing; like heading off with Grey Wardens and heroes on a quest to save Thedas. How silly it might have once seemed to her.
"It's much better than walking. My feet don't hurt anymore."
