Recongizing some of the things she had forgotten to explain, Jill did her best to make up for it afterwards, steering Salma on with lazy nudges. "You can put your arms around my waist, or hold on to the pommel of the saddle, whichever feels most comfortable," she offered, patting the leather in front of her, before realising that Lillie couldn't see it, because Jill's body was in the way. Clearing her throat, she tried to think of anything else that was vital to explain, but it had been so long since she herself learnt to ride, that she couldn't really put herself in Lillie's shoes. "Um, if you feel afraid of falling off, try holding on with your legs, um, if you know what I mean?"
Feeling decidedly silly, Jill noticed that Lillie was relaxing, and relaxed a little herself, happy that her lesson wasn't going too badly. "When we go quicker it might be a little bouncy at first," she said, the thought that she might ask Lillie if she even wanted to go quicker, not dawning on her at all. "But when you find your balance it will feel better." A little unsure - her last venture as a teacher hadn't gone so great after all - she couldn't help but ask though. "I hope I'm not messing this up?"
