It took a second before Jill realised that it was a dwarf girl that was standing in front of her. Not because she had met many dwarves really, but because she was too short to be anything else. That, and the fact that she was apologizing so profusely. The shock and embarrassment on her face was enough to kill Jill's anger, and slowly she started smiling instead. "Well, um, I guess no one would do that on purpose. What are you hunting?"
Moving back and collecting Salma's reins, Jill turned back to the girl, smiling lightly. She hauled Salma in somewhat so that the large horse stood right beside her shoulder, breath comfortably blowing in her ear. "Sorry for flying off the handle like that," she said, a slight blush of her own rising on her freckled cheeks. "I was just shocked, I thought we were under attack!" Pushing some of her wild, red hair out of her face she stood for a moment, unsure of what to do, before she held her hand out to be shaken. "I'm Jill Sorrel, um...nice to meet you?" Unable to do anything else, she giggled at her own backwards attempt on politeness.
