They'd been gathering herbs since early this morning, and awake even longer than that. He wasn't really thinking about anything in particular as he followed a little ways behind Lee, carrying the basket, taking the time to mostly just.. Well, not really think about anything. It wasn't as though he wouldn't speak if someone asked him a question - though more than likely there would need to be some name stating and then probably repetition of the question in.. question.. Really it was just that following behind someone while they talked to scads of other people intermittently and you carried a basket of random plants didn't require a whole lot of brain function. (Well, they weren't random; he knew what they all were, he just wasn't paying attention to them.) Lee had been leaving him mostly to his own thoughts, which he appreciated, and the day itself had been nice so far, so all in all things were fairly okay.
It wasn't too much later that they had stopped somewhere else - again with the not paying much attention; there was actually a slight breeze and having left his templar armor back where they were staying, he was appreciating being able to actually feel it, rather than it just offering wind resistance - and Loïc didn't look up until he heard Signy's voice. His eyes flickered to different people as they spoke in turn, and before he'd really kicked all the mental gears into action it seemed as though they were suddenly an herb gathering party, rather than an herb gathering pair. Not quite what he was expecting, but not really a bad thing either. He looked forwards at Lee (he'd stopped somewhere behind her shoulder, since both of them standing in the doorway would have been a tight fit), addressing her with the first thing he'd said for a while now.
'Are we taking requests for more potions next or leaving to gather the ingredients?'
