hello sgt elias
I'm Eli and I've been listening to the same two albums on my record player for the past twelve hours. What did you do today?

I moved into my brother's apartment today.

Made the worst spaghetti ever. Lol.

What two albums?

I can't imagine how spaghetti could be bad. Unless you burned it. Did you burn it?

Eat A Peach by the Allman Brothers Band and Texas Flood by Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Well, I attempted to make my own sauce, but I put too much pepper and spicey stuff. Yuck.

I'm going to check those out.

Listened to the same two albums for way more than twelve hours.

It's good for you to expand your musical horizons, Lilah.

I do expand! I am totally expandable when it comes to music. I never complained did I? It's good music. Especially Stevie.

I was just being defensive in case that was a complaint. But I'm glad you like Stevie, that will make living together way easier.

A fellow record player junkie. My drug of choice - Pink Floyd's The Wall. You've never heard anything as sinister as The Wall on vinyl.

Man, you obviously know the good shit. I love the Wall but I'm partial to The Velvet Underground & Nico, something about the way Lou Reed's voice sounds on "Venus in Furs" gets me every time. Anyway we should have a record-listening party one of these days.

Of course.

I stumbled upon an ancient copy of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band complete with cut out moustache and army badges. Now THAT'S good shit.

I was ignorant of how many new bands have vinyl, until I bought my player. Impressive.

Where on Earth did you ever find that album? I've been searching for Beatles records for years. And yeah, a lot of cool bands have albums. Which is great for me because I much prefer it to mp3s.

I'm certainly not giving away my record secrets! Oh, mp3s can't compare to record. Wholly unique sound.

I went to work, had some breakfast around lunch time with really bad coffee, went to my second job, almost got hit by a car and then walked a friend's dog.

I should hang out with you, I never seem to have these kind of adventures myself.

I don't know what about work is an adventure, but I don't mind having a shadow. You can come one of these days, see if you really think it's all that fun.

I caught a glimpse of Lenny Kravitz, and then mopped the floor of the pit. Riveting, I tell you. I should treat myself to a record player. It's about time.

Do you work at a music venue or something? And yeah I'm a huge advocate of record players. I have an extra one, if you want.
