Ahem. Some of you know me, whether you account this as fortune or misfortune is up to you; I'm Alice, and I have two characters who bear some introduction ~~and wheedling for plot~~: this is Lucressia Peron, a merchant out of Denerim, a sweet young lady in her late twenties who sells imported items from Antiva and other places in the North of Thedas, loves company and drinking, and absolutely doesn't mean you any harm.

Well, that's what she'd like you to think, at least.

Lucressia Artedí is an Antivan Crow; raised in Rialto, she now works for Master Ignacio, and is arguably the second in command of the Crow cell based in Denerim (she's very quietly fighting it out with Cesare right now mmkay). She claims to be Ignacio's bastard daughter; she doesn't actually know the truth of the matter. She's here in Amaranthine to spy on the Wardens––whether it is for someone who the Crows were hired by, or for the Crows themselves remains to be seen. Right now, she's under cover, pretending to be a merchant; I'd love to start plotting how her cover can be broken, so if anyone has ideas or connections she might have made in either of her "professional" lives, please shoot them my way!

I also have signyature Signy, once of House Dagna, who is among about the first ten dwarves to be made into a mage by Paragon Dagna, in Orzammar. She was a Smith prior to that, and is a reclusive, shy young woman of twenty; when an Aeducan mage went got possessed by a demon and tore up the Diamond Quarter, Paragon Dagna's mages were all exiled, and Signy found herself recruited by the Grey Wardens. They've never had a dwarf mage before, ~~gotta catch 'em all?~~ and it was way better than being dissected by the Chantry or stabbed a lot by Templars. She's currently on her way back to Amaranthine from Redcliffe. She's… slowly getting over her shyness and general skittishness, and she has a hundred questions about any given situation.

(Also, Lucressia's PB changed, in case anyone noticed, because Morena Baccarin = ♥ ♥ ♥ hot damn.)

I also have Genikon Zealas: fail Dalish, fail Dragon Hunter (sort of...he has just about the same training with no access to the title, so it's probably the least of his failures) and fail Grey Warden. Made only a Grey Warden because the recruit they wanted wouldn't join without his team - Gen and a boy named Lazar - but only he and Laz survived the joining. When the First Warden asked the Warden Commander of Nevarra was only too happy to have Genikon off his hands (or so Gen believes). There's more to the story but I won't bore you with the details.

Genikon is unfailingly polite, mild mannered and unassuming. He fades to the background in any group larger than one person. He is a bit of a pacifist, but not a raging one. He has no problems with killing animals and darkspawn, but has been known to apologize before or after wounding someone and tries find a non-violent solution first, failing that he looks to debilitate his opponent, and only after that fails is killing necessary. He is a wiz at archery, but has few other martial or marketable talents beyond that. While quiet - he has a pervasive stammer so he tries to avoid speaking - he is not a loner, he is not given to brooding and would like for the people around him to just be happy. He will go to great leangths to see that they are.

If Genikon and Signy do not get along like houses on fire there is something wrong with the world, okay? Because he seems a lot like her in a lot of ways, and they should totally hang out and be Warden buddies. Maybe they can meet at the tournament, I don't know if there's going to be a like... wardennish meet and greet beforehand. They are having those feasts for the ~important guests.

I know Signy would probably get intimidated and sneak out; would Gen be likely to do that, too? They might be able to meet that way, ducking out of fearsome large-group situations.

And yes. I can see the scene already, Genikon leaves, politely excusing himself, to get some fresh air and sky. Steps outside, and ahhhhhhh air and sky and dwarf...what? 'Oh, pardon, am I b-bothering you?' etc. Everyone needs Warden buddies. They're the super not-so-secret society without fringe benefits of Thedas, there has to at least be good friends involved.

	He certainly could still teach her -- changing up the specs means he wouldn't be teaching her a spec, anymore, I think, but magic lessons would still be really cute. And. Yes. This thread with Gen. Must happen! So much must happen! (Reply to this) (Parent)

You have no idea how in-agreement I am about this! Like, fun on a level I cannot even quite express, we need to do something with their criminal flirtatious foreigner selves :3

I'm thinking we could always have them meet at the tournament, I'm not sure if there's room for a connection prior to that (although Lu's ~exciting career does let her travel a lot, so it's possible) but I am totally open to ideas!

	I think that Arja's coming up with a band of travelers/knights from Gwaren, as she's the only one her time frame is flexible! Mwa hah hah hah hah /complete control over caravan /revels in power /gets headache from powertrip But yes, dorflings need to stick together! (Reply to this) (Parent)
