Who: Lou and Sterling What: Hanging out at the Experience Where: the Experience When: around 7pm Rating: TBD
Lou had swallowed down the guilt as she searched her closet for something to wear. She’d told Justice that she wouldn’t go back; she had reason not to go back. But she just had to get out. She couldn’t deal with life right now and all its pressures. She’d made a couple phone calls and made sure the diner was covered. That was more than enough responsibility for one night.
The first outfit she grabbed would have been fun, but it reminded her too much of last time. Bad memories. And she hated herself for it. Just because of that, she’s grabbed the most seductive little dress number she could. From its little lacy straps to the hem of the itty bitty skirt, it hugged her curves. The cut of the panels helped to emphasize the right areas and draw the eye away from the wrong ones. It was more daring than she would have gone with, but it was a personal issue to prove to herself that she could. She wasn’t afraid of anyone there. She’d wear whatever she damn well pleased. She even found shoes she could dance in that still had a heel.
So when she finally pulled up to the Experience parking lot, Lucy was transformed from the girl Sterling had met the first time. Her makeup was done – her lips a pomegranate red. Her hair fell down, free over her shoulders. She shrugged into a long coat to keep her warm until she could get inside. Hell, she even had a purse that swung from a little spaghetti strap and matched her maroon dress. While she was still in the vehicle, she went ahead and texted Sterling to let him know she was there. She didn’t know what strings he might be able to pull or how that worked, but the least amount of time she spent out alone and freezing in the parking lot, the better.
Lucy kept her text to a short and simple, “here now.” She hoped he got it quickly. She needed a drink and the music to wash her worries away. There was so much to be worried about these days. She gave it a minute before she got out, made sure the lights were off and the car was locked, and started heading for the entrance.
