Alfons was traveling back to the apartment from Amestris after a trip there to work on something in a design that someone had a question about when he saw the Sign and slowed to a stop, a question of his own having occurred to him.

Sarah stands at the Sign, hands deep in her pockets as she mulls something over. After a while, she speaks up. "So...you know the phrase 'first world problems'? Where something's only an issue because you have the luxury to consider it one? Has anyone here ever had a 'Nexus problem', where it's the only damn kind of thing that could happen here?" |
