| A Question About Child Care... |

Florette tends not to ask very many questions. She's more of a quiet observer as she wanders the Nexus and occasionally very surreptitiously dusting the occasional Random Nexus Credenza. Right now she's looking ever so slightly harried as she stands near the the sign. Her hair is slightly frazzled, she seems ever so slightly out of breath.
A few yards away is something that looks like the cross between the best jungle gym ever and a cage made out of slightly glowing green glass. Inside are three children in tight fitting black clothes that cover every inch of them except for their faces, hands and feet, and over that, they're wearing ponchos. Two of the children are identical enough to be twins, and the third is a child with cat ears and a tail. The cat eared child is climbing, the twins are pretending to fight--while climbing.
"What are some good ways to keep three extremely active and destructive children occupied."

First Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye debated for nearly a half an hour about speaking up, staring at the sign from a healthy distance as she argued with herself. But it was either time to speak up, or time to go home, and that option made her finally decide to ask what was on her mind.
"Have you ever been in a situation where you were a party to causing a great deal of harm to someone else, someone who did nothing to deserve what happened to them, and you were in a position where stopping it from happening was not an option, but you're still just as guilty as everyone else involved?" |

There is an Edward Elric in the Nexus, studying The Sign. This one seems different -- maybe not as much as the genderswapped ones some. Is it the fact his coat looks more like a robe? Is it the fact he's merely 'on the short side' rather than 'fullmetal chibi'? Is it that both of his hands appear to be flesh?
Maybe it's the antennae -- not just a stray bit of hair sticking out of his bangs, but two thin, almost insectlike strands poking out from within his hair.
"Where..." he shook his head. "No, I don't want that to be my question. I'm looking for someone. Can anyone help me out here?" |
