Yuuka walked quietly up to the sign. In her hands, a large sunflower in a pot, which she sets on the ground next to her. She smiles, and looks up at the sun. "My, such a beautiful day, even in this urban setting."

She looks over at the sign, and smiles again. "Ask a question. A quaint tradition. I suppose I shall partake in it. What would you say is your favorite place in nature? Not a single location, but rather, a locale, be it forest or prairie."

"I like the gardens Fletcher tends to back at the apartments. He keeps the flowers lovely and the grass nicely trimmed and weed-free, so it's very green," William says. "I always did like a good forest, though."

"Sounds like he cares very much for nature, to be so thoroughly attentive." She gives a broad, genuine smile.

"So what about the forest draws you to it, if I might ask, sir?"

"He does. He's a botanist alchemist, plants are his life. He spends more time tending those flowers than tending his boyfriend sometimes."

William smiles. "My wife, her family lived near a mountain with an evergreen forest. I enjoyed taking walks through it with my wife. It's a fond memory I have."

"The earth is one that will never betray those who truly care for it, unlike some humans might. And in the end, the earth will embrace everyone, will it not?"

Yuuka nods. "So your love for the forest is tied to memories. Tell me, what kind of life did you live before this? It seems as though you were happier then, from your manner of speech."

"It does, for the most part. Some of us cheat death a time or two instead of decomposing in a grave somewhere, but there's a reason for the saying 'ashes to ashes and dust to dust.'"

William blinks. "Oh no, I'm happy now. I. Well, for awhile, there was a pretty dark period where I was separated from my wife and children, but we've been reunited and I've a new family as well, brothers and in-laws I didn't have before. I just have a fond memory of walking the woods with my wife we lived on Jacoby's land, instead of here."

She looks around. "I always find myself somewhat depressed in urban settings, myself. Perhaps it is the thought off all that was taken in the name of progress. Perhaps it is the realization that few care or understand the role the earth plays."

"Do you miss those days, young man?"

"Well, people gotta go somewhere, and we reproduce too fast, there's no room for us all to spread out."

"I do, sometimes. They were simpler, in some ways. But as I said, I have brothers now, that I didn't before, and two in-laws I adore and a step-mother who is worlds above my biological mother. She actually loves me. So no, I think I don't. I have fond memories, but now is better."

"Perhaps underground," Bakura says lazily, leaning against a lamp-post. "Nature isn't too favorable at home- most of it is is hot, sandy, and dry."

"I'd be a terrible husband if I didn't say my wife's gardens," Miles said. "Those aren't exactly nature, though. The hills in my home district, but those are mostly terraformed with Earth plants. You have to go to the South Continent to get large patches of the native flora."
