Envy had actually found the Nexus a few days before and elected to check things out before obeying the sign.

Ed's glare only increases in intensity, and he moves as Envy stalks around him to keep him in sight at all times. This one is raising his hackles up something fierce, even taking into account his special hatred for Envies. "Oh, give me a break. You got fucked up by woman well enough to know goddamned well what abuse is. You just like having someone to take that shit out on."

He snorts and he smirks, though it's hardly mirthful. "Figures you'd lower yourself to kicking around some poor animal for your jollies."
