The Ed that's an alien is back. And apparently not really concerned with the Nexus until he is practically under the sign. Instead he's reading some paperwork. Some very serious and concerning paperwork from his expression.

"I really hope Winry will be all right... dammit."

He looked up, seeing the Nexus instead of what he was expecting. "Why do things have to be so damn complicated?"

"Yep. But it's only been a... a bit more than an Earth year." Edward apparently had to do the math, nut used to thinking in terms of 365-day years. "That's about the time for a round-trip to Venus or Earth. Maybe one-way to an asteroid or Jupiter."

"Of course, he could send a damn message. Even letting me know when I can expect him back and what I can send to him would be nice."
