Nexus,

I have suddenly found myself without a job and have no idea what to do now. There is one similar job that essentially does the same thing, but that would probably mean relocating, something I'm not sure I want to do. So I have two professional questions for you:

1. Any tips for writing a good resume when the last job that I held is considered highly classified?

2. Any career suggestions for a reluctantly former alien hunter?

On a personal note, my lover has stated his intention to do some traveling without me. I have reason to believe that he won't come back Should I wait for him to leave and let him end it when he does or should I just end it now?

((There will probably be spoilers for COE in comments))

To Melisan, 'highly classified' meant 'spy' of some sort, though he wasn't sure what could get a spy out of the job without sending him to the next life, short of turning tail during a revolution or coup. "First point," he said, "I assume you have some neutral-sounding post for the accountants that you can use as an alibi? Perhaps with a note about speaking to your former superior that would let them provide more information without breaking state secrets? As for the second, I'm not entirely sure what an
'alien hunter' does. I assume you don't mean people who cross your borders illegally? I assume one type of hunter could train for another type."

Melisan wasn't going to touch the question about lovers with a long stick.
