Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Ianto has been wandering the Nexus for a while now, mostly observing the going-ons. Finally, it seems he's actually ready to ask a question.

"What do you do when you can't remember something important?" Ianto asks, glancing around. "And is there any point in trying to get back home, when you've really got nothing to go back for?"

((Ianto has had his memories messed with by Adam))

A man in a white jacket and matching hat shifted the cigarette in his mouth as he was walking by.

In hearing this man's inquiries, Sven felt he could sort of sympathize with him--more specifically on the second question. "You might want to buy a notebook. Any place like Staples has them, and you can get 'em cheap. I've known people with memory problems that keep journals with them." He removed his cigarette to blow out the excess smoke from his mouth--not in that guy's direction, in which would be not gentleman-like. People who did that were inconsiderate to other people's health, and that was a fact.

"As for your other question... Well, that's a much more complicated and sensitive problem to try and solve." The tone of his voice was serious, with the faintest twinge of sadness to it. Oh, the painful memories...

As a former member of the International Bureau of Investigations agent (IBI for short), he had lost a partner/close friend on the job and took it rather personally. He felt he couldn't return to the IBI, and became a bounty hunter. He started a new life...and now he's got a whole new partner.
