Why, Atalanta's looking pretty happy today, and she's got a satisfied look too- don't bother asking her why she has that look you'd only get a vague answer.

"Ever had a really bad few days only to have it suddenly take a turn for the better?"

A pause.

"Alright, I guess that's not the only question I've got. Is your trust given or earned?"

Ed's eyes shutters at that. "I ate Red Stones. They're incomplete versions of the Philosopher's Stone. Back home, it's made by killing lots of people. You can see why I consider finding something else to keep me fed is a good thing."

"May I ask why you're asking?" Cloud did favor her with a slightly relieved smile at the crouching. Just because he probably could speak loudly enough to be heard clearly for a while didn't mean he wanted to.
