We're back *knocks wood*

We apologise for being MIA, but there were unexpected real-time issues that had to be dealt with immediately. We did not expect them to take up so much of our time, and will try to keep similar situations from occurring again.

Until all issues are fully resolved, however, we will need to limit prompt posting to twice a month for the short-term.

Thank you.

TMA 1.25.A2 - Anywhere but home.

He had journeyed around the world and not one step was made from regret. No, he reinforced that position in his mind as he stood facing the eastern face of the city. The side that had the unspeakable privilege of seeing the same sun rise that Lucretia had those fourteen years ago. Ambrogino Giovanni regretted nothing -- regret was for the likes of Augustus Giovanni who had locked himself into his private chambers after his childe Claudius proved how stupid he was. Granted, Ambrogino had played more than a passing role in those developments. He had done the family and Clan a favour, truly, in showing the patriarch how duplicitous and inferior of nature was his childe.

1.25A4 - Goddess of the green fields

(My mother was a lean woman, as was my mam before her. Unlike my mam, there was little softness to cushion the edges and angles of my mother's frame. To my child's eyes it seemed as if there was something inside of her that consumed her slowly each time she gave of herself to help improve the lot of others. I would find later, that my imaginings were not far off the mark, but time for that recollection has not yet arrived.

I learnt early in my life the nature of life and death in the villages nestled in amongst the high and low places of Bannau Brycheiniog. It was only to be expected, as I was her heir as she had been her mother's heir, and would take up her mantle when the time did come.)

1.22C: Rain

Algiers was drenched for much of December. Rain cascaded down the steep, narrow streets of the Qasba and washed in curtains across the bay. It poured from the white cupola of the El Djedid mosque and dripped from the twisted pomegranate trees in the courtyard of Khaled’s house.

1.21 B2 The Mysteries

It began in mystery, and it will end in mystery, but what a savage and beautiful country lies in between. - Diane Ackerman

It has taken me the best part of a century to accept that some mysteries are best left unsolved, and should be simply accepted - maybe even appreciated - rather than questioned. My continued existence is one of those mysteries.
