Hermione had plastered her walls with cave drawings. She'd come out into the hallway to continue drawing on the walls, making pictures of buffalo, men with spears, giant bears, and all sorts of swirls, squiggles, dots and lines. She was enjoying all the wall space to draw on. Her clothes (halloween costume) were dirty and torn, and her hair was a mess. She didn't care, though. Her cave(wo)man brain didn't process the difference.
She turned at the sight of someone coming down the hall.
