The night air was stifling as the brown haired boy tossed and turned,trying to get to sleep.Sleep however,was not to come and with a groan he sat up,scrubbing his hands with his face and yawning.

David always hated nights like this, nights where the air was so hot you could barley breathe and sleep evaded him like the plaque,it made him cranky the next day,espically when he didnt get to sleep until 1 or 2 in the morning.He was tempted to mentally prod sheth and see if she was awake but thought better of it,unlike him she needed sleep,being the genius of the 'family'and all.

With a sigh he pulled himself from his bed and managed to stumble over to his closet,pulling out a little blue box.He sat there,staring at the ring for what seemed like ages.He knew one of these he was either going to propose or toss the fucker out the window,more then likely he would propose and get laughed at.He didnt know why,it was just a fear he had.Deepseated,irrevocable fear that sheth would end up like all the others,find out he was nothing more then a freak

The blue box was tossed back into his closet as the air shifted slightly,alerting him of a teleport and he turned,smirking,turned the pale haired girl

"couldnt sleep either huh?"
