Isa sat, studying for a biology midterm. She had finally broken the news to her parents in France. The worst part was they asked if they were expecting her to marry. To be honest, she didn't think about marriage yet...she had been trying to take it slow, one step at a time and get through the semester as well as make sure everything went ok. The whole entire, 'demons are real thing' scared her, especially that one was after her and the twins.

She sighed, picking up her tea and took a sip. She tried her best to focus on blood cells and their functions, properties and diseases that affected them. There was more than just that on the exam, but one step at a time, just like her relationship with Sam. Slow and steady, it was how she remembered things. Isa wasn't a good studier, but she remembered things easily and really didn't need to study. It was just her trying harder, wanting to be better. A degree in medicine loomed before her and she didn't know if she'd make it there.
