1. Adhere to the InsaneJournal Terms of Service.



2. If you're not the moderator, don't moderate. If there's a problem, let the moderators know, and let them do their job. Please. And don't behave in a catty manner to other members.



3. Don't feed the trolls. If you must, feed us instead. Post recipes. But cat macros and porn are good too.



4. Do not change the font size or color when posting. A good way to avoid doing this is to NOT use the Rich Text editor.



5. Don't disable, freeze, screen, or delete comments (including your own, unless you're just deleting and reposting to fix a minor error like broken code). Don't delete your own posts or edit them to remove the original text. If you believe something needs to be taken down, contact a moderator. The reason why these are grounds for banning is because these are often seen in cases involving drama and then when people whinge at the mods, the evidence to do anything about it is gone.



6. If your post is long, has pictures, or is not safe for work, we require you to use an lj-cut. Here is the FAQ on how to use an lj-cut, along with other specific tags that can make your journaling experience easier.
         For icon posts, a maximum of three icons are allowed outside of the cut for demonstration purposes.



7. Friends-lock all fics or fanart rated R or higher. If you are posting a fake-cut to a friends-locked post, do either warn that the link is locked or unlock it. Failure to follow may result in post deletion.



8. Friends-lock all music requests or posts. Failure to follow will result in post deletion.
