| About: | Welcome to ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} the_dreaming, an asylum for all things Sandman-related.Post fic, fan art, essays, reviews, questions about the canon -- almost anything goes as long as it's on-topic. This also includes the Sandman spin-offs, e.g. Bast, The Furies, Lucifer, the various Death books, or Jill Thompson's Little Endless Storybook. Posts about the artists that helped creating the series are fine, too. There aren't many rules, but please adhere to them: 1. Do NOT link to friendslocked entries or posts in friends-only communities -- if you do, the post will get deleted. Also, it's preferable that you post your own fic and art directly to the community. 2. Scans are okay, but don't post whole issues or .cbr files. 3. Put large images, long texts, and all fic behind an LJ-cut. 4. Please use significant subject lines, as it makes tagging and searching a lot easier. Fic should have a header. Its format is up to you, but it should at least mention the title, characters or pairings, and a rating. 5. Ads for role-playing games are permitted only when you are looking for Sandman characters in particular. Do NOT use large graphics, changed fonts or tables, as those might break the layout or the members' friendslist, and always put the ad behind an LJ-cut. There are already dozens of general RPG ad asylums on IJ, so if you can't stick to those rules, I have no qualms about deleting the post. That's it!
