| Who: Darcy and Avery Where: Avery and Fiona's place When: late afternoon
Darcy didn't want to untangle herself from Noah or abandon packing, but Avery called needing a few of her things and as much as Darcy didn't want to, her cousin had been through a trauma. There wasn't any way that Darcy could say no. So she threw a few things into a bag from Avery's room and headed over to her new place. It was part of why Darcy was busy packing up her own things having been told in no uncertain terms that if Avery was moving out, Darcy was moving in with Patrick. That was annoying but considering everything she didn't protest it. Being in the house alone didn't sound fun at all. Not with everything that had happened.
She waited at the door after knocking, nervous that this might not go well. The last thing she wanted to do was make things worse for Avery.

| Who: Avery and Darcy When: Late afternoon Where: Home Avery was annoyed. Really annoyed. She had no idea if Darcy would decide to grace Avery with her presence that day or not, but Avery sat at home, anyway, pacing in the living room and biting her nail down to the fingertip. She had already woken with a headache earlier, and everything following had just made the throbbing in her head worse. But if Darcy didn't show up soon, Avery would text her to track her down. Because they needed to talk. Like, soon.

| Who: Darcy and Avery Where: Their House When: Morning
Darcy had seen Noah off in the early hours, linger at the window long after he’d gone, unable to stop smiling to herself. It was nice, different than when she’d seen Liam off in the morning, which had been nice as well, but she couldn’t put her finger on just what it was.
Avery was up and ready for school, her blonde hair tied up out of her face. She had to work after, which was just fine with her, because Avery was thinking she could maybe drink a couple beers before the end of the night. Being a little buzzy certainly made everything a lot easier to deal with. Especially the knowledge that her brother was quite possibly a werewolf. But... She needed to talk to Darcy before turning her thoughts to that.
Crossing the hall, Avery knocked sharply at Darcy's bedroom door hoping she didn't have Liam inside. ( you don't either ) | comments: Leave a comment |
| Who: Avery and Darcy When: late afternoon Where: Home
Darcy was busy putting together what she needed for her date with Liam. Yes, the weather was crap and not looking like it was getting better, but Darcy had a plan and a hurricane wouldn’t stop it. She was determined. It meant her hair was mostly straightened with a round brush, but she was also pinning it back to get it off her shoulders in the the bathroom she shared with Avery.
Avery wasn't actively seeking out Darcy, but that didn't stop her from slowing down as she left her bedroom and passed the bathroom, spotting her cousin in front of the mirror. Leaning against the door frame, Avery watched Darcy for a moment before speaking. "Your hair looks pretty," she said, a rare compliment for Darcy making it's way past her lips. "Are you going out with Liam again?"

| Who: Avery and Darcy When: Evening Where Home
Avery was thoroughly buzzed by the time she got home through the rain - with an umbrella this time. Having beer, and then a couple shots, with her brother had saved her from the disappointment of her date with Finn, and her lingering insecurities about boys in general. She was still giggling to herself a bit as she opened the front door and stepped inside, closing the dripping umbrella and setting it aside. Determined to get into some dry pajamas, Avery shivered at the chill in the air and then started for her bedroom, only stumbling twice, once into the wall. Maybe the buzzy feeling had shifted into mildly drunk without her knowing it?
“Darcy?” Avery yelled, heading for her cousin’s room instead. “Darcy?”

| Who: Avery and Darcy When: Afternoon Where: Home
With the festival probably in full swing by now, Avery was dressed and ready to head down to the park to check it out, more specifically the auction. She walked downstairs to find her shoes, wondering if she might run into Ren somewhere. Avery didn’t mind doing things alone, but it was always more fun if people she actually liked were around to goof off with her.
Sitting on the nearby chair, Avery shoved her feet into her shoes, thankful that her headache that morning had gone away after a shower and breakfast. She hadn’t even had that much to drink with Gabe, but seeing as how it had been awhile since she had alcohol, it had definitely taken it’s toll. ( Read more... ) | comments: Leave a comment |
