After the war is over, Lucius Malfoy decides he must do something to re-establish the Malfoy name. What would be better than taking care of the Boy-Who-Lived?

Harry has survived the war, but his past has finally caught up with him:
- years of neglect/abuse at the hands of the Dursleys
- fighting Voldemort at the age of eleven and involuntarily causing the death of three people
- being under the supsicion of attacking students, of cheating, of being unstable/mental, an attention seeker etc.
- fighting Fluffy, Aragog, the Basilisk, Dementors, and Blast-Ended Skrewts
- being witness and means to Voldemort's resurrection
- Umbridge's torture
- fighting the Ministry and the Death Eaters
- the deaths of Cedric, Sirius, Dumbledore, Remus and Tonks, Fred, Moody, Hedwig ...
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is probably the nicest way of putting it.

Something is very wrong with Harry. Ron and Hermione are helpless. Ginny tries to help until she herself breaks down (because Harry just won't let her, or anyone, close).

Lucius decides that only he can heal Harry, and he will do so by protecting him, cherishing him, spoiling him rotten - and, in the end, loving him.
