A Werewolf Bunny

It's one of those fics where Draco had an unfortunate run-in with Greyback and ended up a werewolf. Fortunately, Severus survives that ruddy snake, so Draco gets his monthly potion.

It's all well and good, but after a while - after Draco's body and mind have adapted to being a werewolf - things become difficult. Draco becomes increasingly aggressive and promiscuous. The answer is simple, but not so easily found: he's looking for his mate.

Perhaps his parents are ecstatic. Draco has been showing a marked interest for his own sex (perhaps even for Severus), and now they think he'll end up with a girl. That would mean a Malfoy heir.

Perhaps Harry has, in the meantime and with Hermione's help, also improved werewolf rights.

However, Draco shows no inclination towards a female as his mate. Neither can he restrict himself to one person: he's hot (and jealously possessive?) for both Severus and Harry.

That should make for a lot of drama and tension and trouble. Not to forget the question why he cannot stay true to one man. And how Harry and Severus deal with the situation.

The solution is that Draco, as the alpha male, has more than one mate. He's alpha by default, since he's the first/ only werewolf in the Malfoy family. Alpha werewolves can have more than one mate, usually two to four (or any number that seems natural).

This is where the possible D/s aspect comes in: Draco is the alpha. In light of his upbringing, the wolf is not at all inclined to let someone else dominate him. So Draco has to be the dominant one in the relationship. Not easy when the other two are Harry and Severus. Plus, this means responsibility for Draco, and although he has shown that he can take responsibility I'm inclined to believe he'd much rather not.

It should be fun to see how these three work it out. I'm hopeful they will and live, perhaps not always happily and of course not ever after, but together for a long long time. I'm such a hopeless romantic ...
