Thankful to be off work, Shannon had pushed the speed limit until she was the only one out on the road -- then had taken advantage to go a little faster. She was well aware of all the dangers of speeding, but there was something about going so quickly that she could never get enough of.
Fortunately, when she got pulled over, the cop was Logan Bruno. She may not have any good feelings left for any of the ex-BSCers, but at least he wasn't one of the core group. And maybe he wouldn't give her too big a ticket. "Hey Logan," she gave him a small smile. "I've been all right. How's life been since escaping the club?"
