Sam held her close as she kissed him, and he kissed her back longingly. He loved random kisses just a little bit more than the planned ones, though any kisses from Stacey were amazing.
"I love you, too," he said, squeezing her tightly. He knew they made a sickeningly sweet couple, that more pessimistic members of society probably found to be annoying. Quite frankly, Sam didn't care. He wasn't shy about public displays of affection; not that they were about to have sex on the sidewalk, but kissing and handholding weren't a big deal to him.
