When I first got here in April, I spent the full moon outdoors instead of being contained. We I was attacked by mountain lions, and in the fight that followed I ended up finding and attacking one of the Grounders. I lost track of him, and my memories are fuzzy, but I bit him.

I didn't tell anyone, not until a werewolf killed a Grounder village. [...] The situation here is my fault, and after the werewolf escaped the cells tonight I tried to run. But I can't in good conscience run anymore, and I feel it isn't fair to keep lying to so many of you and pretend that this isn't my fault.

I'm sorry. I am so sorry for what's happened and for the violence I've inadvertently caused. The people in charge here have known about this for a while, but I'm lying to everyone else and acting like I'm not responsible. I know apologies mean nothing, and I'll assist in whatever way I can, or deal with any punishment you see fit.

I know this probably seems like a strange and suspicious message, if there are any of you out there reading this, but please hear me out-- or rather, read the whole thing-- before making any decisions. There's no need to respond right now (and you're welcome to make a more private filter), but I want to introduce myself and offer my help.

My name is Nathan Wuornos, and I come from a place that has what we call the Troubles. Supernatural curses, essentially, that can do almost anything. They can make a person's emotions affect the weather, or bring machines to life, or give them a taste for human blood, or make them transform into something they aren't. I am a Troubled person, but my Trouble only endangers me. It makes me completely numb to pain, and to everything else. It sometimes comes in handy.

At home, I'm officially a cop, but my real job is helping the Troubled. That means finding ways to manage their afflictions, in whatever form they take, and in some cases even managing to stop them entirely. I don't know if there's anyone who needs my help here, but this is a strange place with a lot of different people arriving, so I figured it couldn't hurt to put this out there.

If there are any of you out there that can see this, please let me know if there's anything I can do to keep you and everyone around you safe. I can guarantee I will be willing to hear you out and go out of my way to find a way to help. If you don't need my help now, you will probably be able to find me around the bunker or on the network at a later point. Since it doesn't look like anyone is going anywhere until we figure out what's happening to us.
