All right, Mount Weather. If you've ever wanted to know something about me, now's your chance. It's time for my Ask Me Anything. I'd been asked to do this in my own world, but I always figured it would end up being more of a chaotic mess than anything enlightening.

I think most of you know who I am by now, but in case you're new, I'm Steve Rogers. Back home, I went by Captain America. I spent nearly seventy years taking a nap in the Arctic and after that I led the Avengers in protecting the world from whatever threat came our way. Here I'm one of our councilors. If you have any questions, I'll be answering on and off for a few hours.

Alright folks, following up on Blake's post, if you were bothering to pay attention. We've got a situation.

Scouts reported back, they ain't Grounders and they ain't our people. It's a camp of goblins, from the Dwarf's world - Middle Earth. I'd say this is the weirdest shit I've explained, but I'd be lying.

They ain't attacking yet, obviously, but they're prepping. Pretty sure they're not coming here above ground, neither. So we've got shit to do, and we've gotta get it done as fast as we can. Consider this all-hands-on-deck until we give the word otherwise. We're low on numbers and our military's smaller than ever, it's gonna be one hell of a fight, but we've gotta work it smart and be on the defense. Ain't my favorite play, but it'll give us a better chance.

Anybody with infrastructure, engineering, building knowledge or just able to lift heavy shit, you're working with Erik and Kili. They've got plans for where the Goblins are gonna tunnel, and we're going to barricade, fortify and prepare the best we can to tunnel these bitches.

Gonna need a group to relocate anybody in Housing 506, 604 and 605. If you live in these, get your shit to 504 and fill in the blanks for now. Don't care if you're cozy in 504 and you don't wanna share your newfound empty apartments, make room. Store your important stuff in the upper warehouses for now, CS has boxes and shit. After you do that, need some hands in medical to follow Hawke around and do whatever he says to prep.

Also need volunteers to clear out the library - Drake already offered to lead that up, report to him ASAP. Military - Soldiers, Scouts, FWF - if you fight, you should know where you stand - report to Rutherford and Pentaghast, they're drafting up defense strat and prepping combatants.

Civs, we're securing safe zones now. You don't fit in any of the above categories, I'll give you a job. Everybody better be working and getting shit done.

I have to say the welcome pamphlet is a nice touch. Even if its a bit daunting to see there's been enough time and people arriving to warrant one.

Feels like I broke a mirror or walked under a ladder or something and forgot about it, I haven't seen anything bigger than a porcupine in two days. Does anyone know if you can even eat porcupine? I really just miss Artemis. She'd probably find some massive silver stag that would have us in meat for at least a month.

It's probably just the area I've been in. I'll try back down more. Avoiding having to carry things uphill only works if you actually have something to carry.

Okay, so all you people picking up shifts in the kitchen, hi, and thanks. I'm Chloe, and since I've been the loudmouth in the kitchen for a while now, what I say goes. Before you do any kind of shift we're going to go over safety basics, shit like holding knives safely and where the fire extinguishers are all and all that. Also I don't give a flying fuck if you're a superhero impervious to everything on the planet; you're still going to get the lecture.

People come, and people go. There's no reason to be assholes in the meantime.

Hello, everyone. I have accepted Second in Command of Civilian Services. Podkru numbers are critically short in almost all of our Civilian Services. We are down to: 1 Food Service, 2 Dishwashers, 2 Teachers, 2 Child Caretakers. The only ones that did not lose the majority of their workers were Laundry Services and Sanitation, and even then, that is only 3 people each. Food Service is the most critical of these as, of course, we all must eat.

I am therefore proposing that each of us work at least one meal shift per week, with exceptions only for those ill, injured, or responsible for the care of someone who cannot care for themselves. Though I cannot require this of you, I hope you can recognise the importance and will contribute. There are simple food preparations that almost anyone could assist with, and anyone who is absolutely uncomfortable with that can at least help in portioning out and serving the food. I have pulled the records for prior meal plans and schedules so they can be scaled down accordingly for the current population.

I'm aware that many of you enjoy regular alcohol, and I occasionally imbibe myself, but there are now vastly more people brewing alcohol than preparing food. I'd ask that the brewers, in particular, consider transferring your work focus to the much more urgent food needs and take more than a single day's meal shift.

I'd also ask that anyone who can speed the dishwashing process, please give your assistance in spelling the dishes or otherwise helping this along. There isn't enough space at the washing stations for everyone to wash their own at every meal, therefore we need to continue to do them in bulk.

I'm pretty sure you guys are all the last ones only people from your worlds now. I really, really don't want to be mawkish with people's personal items at all, but at least in your cases where there's someone who probably knows which bits are important I'm going to see if I can put them all at the bottom of the list and focus first on the people who didn't leave anyone behind. That still puts you on a deadline unfortunately but the only other thing I can offer is someone to ask if you want help from a stranger.

Apart from that I'm going to try to make sure that any obvious personal items will be labeled and put into a separate storage area in case the owners come back. But anything you can hold onto yourselves is so much the better.

Hello. I am Captain John Granby of the British Aerial Corps. I fly with Iskierka normally, but as she has appeared here in human form, it seems we won't be doing any of that. I'm presently in Medical as I wait for an infection to clear from a rather severely broken arm, and I have to say, the doctors you have here are a marvel. This would have been an amputation for sure at home, and that's if I survived the fever long enough to get to someone who could perform it.

Last thing I knew, it was 1810 and I was in Brazil, and the British were at war with Napoleon. I am given to understand that none of those things are the case now, and that you're all from different worlds, and that even in the worlds that have dragons, yours don't talk. I am originally from Newcastle, but I've served in the Aerial Corps since I was 6. Once I am cleared to leave Medical, I will be joining the folk who take care of the animals here. Do not let Iskierka near them in the meantime. She is liable to bite a cow.
