oh boy, group work is so awesome. it makes me delightfully happy. why didn't i engage in full-on group work before. i've been missing out basically my whole life.

(now can i have a gold star, mom? can i?)

[RAVEN]
hi boss. funny story. i was out scavenging for what i think will be not exactly primitive settlements and i happened upon some decommissioned missiles - interesting, sure. let's not think about how they got there.

i took apart one of the warheads and found palladium! some parts that i could use to build a self-sustaining power supply for at least one settlement. maybe more. depends on what you've got.

I must have been incredibly naïve to think that being in another universe would mean that we'd be able to avoid going through something like this all over again.

It's been a busy and difficult month for all of us, so I wanted to take a moment to say a few things. Let me put my Councilor hat on real quick.

First, I'm proud of the way we've handled ourselves in the wake of Storybrooke. Many of us were put into uncomfortable situations, myself included, and we all have to find a way to live in the aftermath of that. And many of us were here, instead, which caused its own problems. When I first considered running for the Council, one of the things that was important to us was fixing the justice system here. Essentially, that's involved starting over, almost completely. It was important to me that we let go of the system from the Ark, and that we moved towards something more productive for society. We've had some trouble. It's been a slow and difficult process. But I believe it's working. I think we've proven that recently. With your help, and with the hard work of our law enforcement and lawyers, we were able to fully investigate what happened. I'm proud of that. What justice means to each of us is different. We all come from different places, and we all have unique experiences. That's a good thing, but I know it's difficult, too. Sometimes that's going to mean letting go of what we're used to and finding a compromise. Adapting to a new system isn't easy for anyone, but that's why it's so rewarding to see our community come together. My biggest hope moving forward is that we can find a way to heal from our experiences, individually and as a community.

Second, I know there's been a lot of discussion about the offer made to us by the Coalition. This is an enormous decision, and one none of us took lightly. We should be hearing from our delegates soon, with any luck, and they'll be able to tell us how their time in Polis went. There are a lot of concerns, and a lot of fear. I get that. But I'm sure there are a lot of those on the other side, too, and that's why encouraging a positive relationship with the other Grounder clans is crucial. There's so much we don't understand about each other, and if we continue to isolate ourselves from the world at large, we will only give fuel to that fear. We have so many things to offer each other, if we're willing to try. We see that with Lincoln. We've seen that with Dela and the other Floukru. We know it's possible. We can help each other instead of continuing to feed into a cycle of isolationism. Whatever the outcome of this meeting at Polis is, I hope we're able to continue building relationships with the other people who inhabit this planet.

... I guess that wasn't as quick as I thought it'd be. Oops. I'm done now, I promise. May the 4th be with you.

How are you doing?

It looks as though I've managed to fall into a little extra free time and I'd like to occupy that time with as much work as helping out how I can. I have the unstable molecule fabric I'm looking into, though I can't say I'm making much headway there. If there is anything else that anyone would like me to give my attention to, please speak up.

[Natasha, Bucky]
How is the arm holding up? Any complaints? If it's all right I'd like to do one last check up on it before I'm completely satisfied with the end result.

[Jennifer Walters]
I haven't been able to sleep since Amadaeus' little show the other day. I'm not sure who else to talk to about it.

[Tony Stark]
Oh, did I forget to mention there are two other Hulks here now?

So hey everybody. I messed up. I mean, sure, there's a lot of distractions going on (Really, not everyone can say that wars and alternative lives get in the way of their plans. Okay, unless they're from comic books. Mad love for you guys!). But I let something get behind and just totes didn't stay on top of it.

Which, considering what it is, that's disappointing to me. Top Priority, Cisco! Thanks for the reminder, Tali! I think this will work AMAZING with your idea for comm relays and towers. Can't believe I didn't think of that. Also sorry to the tech team for horribly failing at sharing info on this. I will suck less going forward.

I have sketched out some ideas for bringing two things back online here in Futureworld - Internet and GPS. It looks like we got the go ahead for the next phase of Cisco's Master Plan (with Help From Peter Parker and Friends (CMPHFPPF for short)).

Resources have been stockpiled, I know what I need. But you're wondering "WHERE DO I COME IN?"

Well, dear reader. If you can fly into space, I need your help. I need SPACE DEBRIS. Specifically satellites that we can refurbish. If anyone has like super metal detecting skills, there may be some that've crashed after a decayed orbit. Otherwise, I'll defer ground-based materials to the comm tower idea. Most of what I need has to be rated for space, etc.

After a bunch of... how should I say this nicely, mishaps? Inconveniences? Hiccups? After a bunch of that, we finally made it to the night before the show. I hope everyone comes out tomorrow night or Saturday night to see Little Shop of Horrors, because we worked really hard and it's going to be great. I'm really proud of all of us.

If I don't see you there, pretend I'm frowning at you like Captain America does when he's disappointed in someone. I think we all know that face.

I know you're all exhausted, but we're not finished just yet.

All the military reports are in and the last of the goblins is dead. Anyone taking shelter in a safe location is free to move about the mountain, and I'm going to ask that any civilian who is physically able volunteers to help in the next few days. It'll mean pulling double shifts and going outside your department, but Mount Weather needs all hands on deck to really be livable right now.

  • Military + Fair Weather Friends: I'd rather all of you get some kind of sleep or rest, but I know most of you are stubborn, so I'm asking that you at least try to volunteer somewhere comparitively low stress. You deserve a break.
  • Medical: We're still treating the injured and we could use more civilian volunteers. I've talked to Hawke about setting up a rotation for the doctors, nurses and field medics, but again, I know a lot of you are stubborn. I won't be surprised if you refuse to take a nap, but I will remind you that tired medics make mistakes. If you're usually working in medical, do the most important work on your patients and leave anything that you can easily explain to a layman to the volunteers.
  • Infrastructure: The tunnels need to be collapsed and the walls need to be repaired. Our infrastructure department took a lot of cuts a few weeks ago, so if you're up for some labor, they also desperately need volunteers.
  • Law Enforcement: We need an updated list of our survivors, our injured and our dead ASAP. Many of our officers are FWF and may be injured, so if everyone could check in with an officer before switching departments, that would help.
  • Crafts: Anybody who knows useful salvage from garbage and has a strong stomach needs to volunteer for Craft detail for a while. They'll be looting and disposing of the dead bodies. Our main priorities are to get them out of the mountain and not to leave them out to attract predators; the best way to do that is by burning them. We'll need someone to maintain a pyre far enough from the blast doors to keep the stink some distance away from us.
  • Civilian: With so much of our residential area damaged, we need more hands on deck than usual to clean up the damaged areas to make them livable again. Until that's done, anyone not catching rest in the hospital while they're recovering will have to bunk with someone in 504 or find somewhere else to sleep until their rooms are safe. I'm also asking that the kitchen staff deliver food to workers instead of calling everybody away and into the Mess Hall. People are either wiped or working, and we want to get this done as soon as possible. Normally Lily Potter would
  • This is an all hands on deck situation. I know it's asking a lot so soon after repelling an invasion, but it's about keeping our home livable, and everyone needs volunteers. The only non-essential areas that will resume as normal are going to be childcare, education and The Rose. The kids need the normalcy, and I have a feeling you'd all find a way to get a drink even if I told you not to. As soon as you're done with duties in one area, or if a certain job overloads you in some way, you need to volunteer in another area. Nobody expects you to do nothing but clean up dead bodies the entire time, but that just means you'll need to move over to something like food service or infrastructure and rotate with someone.

Most importantly, stay safe, take breaks every few hours, and don't forget to eat and stay hydrated. Medical is going to be too busy tending to the wounded to hover over you about self care, but if you make dangerous mistakes because you're tired or pass out from dehydration, you're adding more to Medical's workload. There's no issue of banding together and getting this done, because I've seen you all do it time and time again, but we're down over 180 people from the last time we dealt with something this damaging inside Mount Weather itself and I know that many of you will work yourselves to the bone if we let you.

You saved us all today. Take care of yourselves.

    mount weather: julie power

What the hell am I Hey! Okay, so. Hi. If we haven't met, I'm Julie, and I was named second in command of crafts after the most recent mass exodus. Who knew all that time repairing my siblings' costumes would come in handy! Good thing I'm speedy, too, because holy shit, we are down in numbers.

Which is what I wanted to talk to everyone about. We could really use help in all areas, honestly. We lost Thorin, which has really bummed me out on a personal level, and we lost most of our Podkru clothing makers, shoe makers and tool makers. I know what you're thinking. "But Julie, I don't know anything about making clothes or shoes?" Or "I barely know how to use tools in the first place!" But the thing about these skills is that you can learn them. We're not asking for perfection. Just someone who wants to help and wants to learn. So if anyone's willing to chip in some time to help, that'd be great. I know everyone here would appreciate it, and it's always good to have a variety of skills at your disposal. You never know when you'll need them.

... Also, does anyone know a lot about unstable molecules? I got a bunch of material made from it last month, and it'd be way more useful if we could make more of it. Or... something, I don't know:

    ISKIERKA:
Hey, I checked about your friend. There was no sign he left the base around the time he went missing. No one could find him on any cameras. If there was any foul play, law enforcement would know about it. Have you talked to them about this? It might just be that he disappeared like everyone else. I know you don't want to hear that, but without any evidence to help us out, we're kind of stuck.

    • I saw that there's Law Enforcement and Legal. Are the laws of this place posted anywhere?

    • What's the coffee supply like? Tea is nice and all but it doesn't even begin to compete with coffee. There's still coffee, right?
    • How many of the Podkru—I think I got that right—are there? Any idea how many universes we're from?
    • Who's in charge of the 5-6's for childcare? We're going to need to talk.
    • There's no detangler, is there?
    • I also heard there are people with varying abilities here. Does anyone help work with others who might have just discovered their powers?

    Mount Weather: Minerva McGonagall

Hello, everyone. I have accepted Second in Command of Civilian Services. Podkru numbers are critically short in almost all of our Civilian Services. We are down to: 1 Food Service, 2 Dishwashers, 2 Teachers, 2 Child Caretakers. The only ones that did not lose the majority of their workers were Laundry Services and Sanitation, and even then, that is only 3 people each. Food Service is the most critical of these as, of course, we all must eat.

I am therefore proposing that each of us work at least one meal shift per week, with exceptions only for those ill, injured, or responsible for the care of someone who cannot care for themselves. Though I cannot require this of you, I hope you can recognise the importance and will contribute. There are simple food preparations that almost anyone could assist with, and anyone who is absolutely uncomfortable with that can at least help in portioning out and serving the food. I have pulled the records for prior meal plans and schedules so they can be scaled down accordingly for the current population.

I'm aware that many of you enjoy regular alcohol, and I occasionally imbibe myself, but there are now vastly more people brewing alcohol than preparing food. I'd ask that the brewers, in particular, consider transferring your work focus to the much more urgent food needs and take more than a single day's meal shift.

I'd also ask that anyone who can speed the dishwashing process, please give your assistance in spelling the dishes or otherwise helping this along. There isn't enough space at the washing stations for everyone to wash their own at every meal, therefore we need to continue to do them in bulk.

Mr Albus Severus Potter, Mr Bucky Barnes, and Ms Sue Storm-- please see me tomorrow at 8 AM in 203 for an emergency meeting with the Skaikru who remain as Teachers and Child Caretakers.

    Thank you.

Brace yourselves. This is a lot to take in here.

Mount Weather's military divisions were hit hard in the recent large wave of departures. As our reduced population does nothing to reduce the size of the area we need to protect or the size of the threats we may face, we are reorganizing, consolidating, and calling up some additional volunteers to ensure the safety of our home and its citizens.

The Soldier and Guard divisions have been merged, and will share duties among three squads: Bravo, Charlie, and Echo. To maintain a 24-hour guard on Mount Weather, the Scout divisions will also be taking one shift per week, alternating days and nights. The Mapping division is being consolidated into one group, reporting to Sgt. Spock. We called up Fair Weather Friends, so you'll need to take a look at this if you've signed up for the position.

All Mount Weather Military members may find their current assignment and schedule in the following list:
