So. I'm doing something foolish.

I'd like to extend an invitation to any and all who would like to attend an Easter service tomorrow morning. I've spoken with command and they've agreed to let us hold a sunrise service just outside the blast doors, provided there might be a few extra military volunteers willing to stand guard on the perimeter. I don't suppose there are any who are willing to volunteer?

I plan to start the service at 7am to coincide with the sunrise as best as I've been able to tell. One need not be Christian to attend, and I'll do my best to make sure the sermon isn't dull.

I also need a few volunteers to help with the readings.

I don't need help until Saturday but who wants to sign up to fill a whole bunch of eggs with candy?

The Pod God is apparently turning sentimental - or remarkably good at manipulation. One of the two.

Awhile back, Dela offered some of us a chance to participate in her rituals for the dead and I wonder if a monthly service of remembrance drawing on various traditions represented in this place.


I tend to view most of my work more as what some would call simply being there, rather than preaching or leading service, though I did both of those things during my time at the monastery. However, with Easter fast approaching, I would be happy to lead a service for those who celebrate it.

Hello. I am Captain John Granby of the British Aerial Corps. I fly with Iskierka normally, but as she has appeared here in human form, it seems we won't be doing any of that. I'm presently in Medical as I wait for an infection to clear from a rather severely broken arm, and I have to say, the doctors you have here are a marvel. This would have been an amputation for sure at home, and that's if I survived the fever long enough to get to someone who could perform it.

Last thing I knew, it was 1810 and I was in Brazil, and the British were at war with Napoleon. I am given to understand that none of those things are the case now, and that you're all from different worlds, and that even in the worlds that have dragons, yours don't talk. I am originally from Newcastle, but I've served in the Aerial Corps since I was 6. Once I am cleared to leave Medical, I will be joining the folk who take care of the animals here. Do not let Iskierka near them in the meantime. She is liable to bite a cow.

Can someone please explain to me what we actually DO down here?

I'm aware that many folks here probably have a complicated relationship with religion, but I'd be remiss to my vows if I didn't at least offer some sort of religious services. I'm far from a fire and brimstone preacher, but I wanted to see if there was any interest.

Well, it seems that my arrival to this world comes in the midst of turmoil. But sometimes that is what life is, surviving and thriving in the midst of adverse situations.

My thanks to Dr. Tam and the staff in medical for fixing me up. I thought I was sure to be meeting my Maker soon when I woke up here with such skiled and kind people taking care of me. And Kaylee, your smiling way was as welcome a sight as ever.
