The 100; a panfandom game

I'm really not sure what to say about the last couple of days. Thankfully the beautiful woman I woke up with turned out to be my wife and she was amazing as always.

Although I'm pretty sure she's not ever going to let me live this down.

Well, at least I didn't have to relive those last 15 years all in one fell swoop, so thank you for that. Hard enough fighting a war at fourteen, but going through it and losing and then an Empire rising in its place? Not something I wanted to discover all over again.

So, there's a new year coming and that's really weird, because it wasn't this close from whence I came. But, I'm adjusting and not as starstruck. ..That's not true, I'm still starstruck. In fact, I've made a brand new autograph book to make up for not having my old one that's ready for signatures from every hero I've ever had in the White House.

I've veered off subject, I'm sorry. So, my resolution is to be more open, and by that I mean... Accepting of this place and where I stand in it. I'm Leslie Knope, I don't stay down for long. I can't.

My second resolution is to get every possible Harry Potter-related person's autograph, because you're all amazing and heroes and I love you. I'm not weird. You're weird. No. You're not weird. You're wonderfully real people that I admire a lot.

FYI Disney World is NOT the happiest place on earth anymore.

Gonna have to recommend that people don't go there.

Is anyone making New Years resolutions here? I would but it kinda seems like asking for trouble cause the only ones I can think of are like, "don't die" and "don't disappear".

What's everyone doing for New Years? I'm helping plan a party, which smart money says will be the happening place to be.

Is it strange that I didn't even notice the so-called truth spell until nearly a day into it? I'm not sure if it means I'm an exceptionally honest person, or just exceptionally unobservant. It did take me a long time to figure out I'd become Troubled.

At any rate, I'm glad things are back to normal. Honesty may be the best policy, but only when it's intentional. I suppose you could say that intentionality is the best policy, really. Now there's a great thought to take into the new year. My meditation teacher back in Indianapolis would be so proud.

Am I the only one that's not being overly affected by this? I mean, I don't really lie. And, I say most of what's in my head anyway. Other than when I avoid saying things like how Rumpelstiltskin really isn't a very nice person a lot. Because I know Belle loves him. And, he's Henry's Grandfather and it's not nice to insult your friends husbands a lot. And, I'm not entirely certain that that will change without the darkness in him. I mean, 300 years of darkness has to have it's toll, doesn't it?

And, oh. This really has gotten away from me, hasn't it? I really didn't mean to say that much. I miss Kristoff. He probably would have pointed out that it's time for me to stop talking now. And, he would have been my husband. If I hadn't come here when I did. Minutes, just minutes later and we would have been married. And, well okay. So, I would still miss him. But, I delayed the wedding enough as it is. I feel bad.

And, actually I think I'm going to stop typing now. Because this really is getting out of hand. Not that that's too much different to normal.

When I asked for something to do, that wasn't exactly what I had in mind. I'm never looking in the damn mirror again.

You guys! My best friend Leslie Knope is here! The Pod God really does answer prayers. Some of them, anyway. And only once you've been saying them for nearly half a year. But I'll take it!

Anyway, you should all go say hello to her! She's the most amazing person -- truly, you'll never make a more loyal friend or a more fierce advocate than Leslie Knope. We're so lucky to have her. Now to work on my other best friend (and Leslie's fiance), Ben Wyatt! I've made some real progress on my jobi nut flour-based calzone recipe in his honor.

Oh, but don't worry, new best friends I've made here. There's enough room in my heart for each and every one of you. How are you all doing this weekend? Who's going to try speed dating tonight? I hope I'll see some of you there!

Greetings! Seasonally! Salutations festively! No, no. That's ridiculous. I can't seem to get this introduction right. Hi everybody! I'm Pawnee City Councilwoman Leslie Knope and I'm completely not okay with any of this at all because this is actually forty-eight miles from my dream second home away from the best city in the world which is also called Pawnee, Indiana and holy crap this sentence has gotten away with me.
