The 100; a panfandom game

We're back, and with good news for once. Lexa called us to Polis to offer us a place as the 13th Clan in the Coalition, and she's given us a week to decide if we want to accept or not. The Command officials will be meeting for the next few days to discuss it, but even though we won't be having an official vote, your thoughts are still valuable. This is a big decision on our part, and it's worth publicly discussing so that your representatives can accurately argue for your perspective in the meetings.

Speaking of the Council, we're having a shift in personnel: Abby Griffin is stepping down as Chancellor to devote more of her time to Medical. This means we're down from 5 members of the Council to 4 for the time being, because Marcus Kane is stepping up as Interim Chancellor until an official election later this year. Kane served the Council on the Ark, and to be totally honest, he understands and negotiates more effectively with the Grounders than Chancellor Griffin ever did. This is a positive thing, and Chancellor Kane should be addressing everyone in his own words soon.

I'm not sure what the chance means for you, because I'm not sure if Mom has talked to you about it. She basically resigned in Polis instead of waiting to get back. Kane might be more proactive about announcing things himself or he may want to use you the way Abby did. I'm just not sure, and I wanted to give you the head's up.

Many of you were wondering about the activity reported in and around the mountain last night, and after a debriefing, it was revealed that the entity known as Lucifer who had been possessing Castiel, one of our Podkru, was actively plotting to take lives. Several of our citizens engaged in a fight to remove Lucifer from possessing Castiel and locked him away permanently in what is known as The Fade. The Earthquakes and flickering lights were due to this fight between angels.

Castiel and our other citizens are recovering from the ordeal, should you want to wish them well.

It's a full moon tonight and there's something weird going on outside. Is anyone else a little creeped out?

Sev! I'm so glad you're back and you remember me and what we were working on I can hardly contain my excitement. Yayyyy! See? Happy noises.

Tonight's the full moon and it got me thinking about the Wolfsbane Potion. I spoke to Rose Red and we got the Mandrake seeds all potted while you were gone. I'm no herbologist, but she said if it's anything like a mundane seed we should see sprouts in about a week! I've been checking everyday... mostly because I don't have anything else better to do. Do you want to meet up and test some of the plants this weekend again?

Somebody get Alison to sit down before she reads this. And nobody give her a gun. (I'm looking at you, Aramis.)


Anybody got advice on recovering a voice that's gone all croaky and nonexistent? I've already got a belly ache from too much honey in my tea.

Rationing on alcohol has been lifted! I know a couple of regulars who are going to like the sound of that. There are so few of us left and we've been making the same amount, so there's a surplus. Enjoy it while you can. =D

In the world Tauriel and I are from, it would have been difficult for us to have a life together. Nevermind how I don't survive the battle - had I lived, we each would have faced banishment from our homes. She already had. For me. For wanting to do what was right.

My uncle was right when he said I asked too much of him. We could not have fought old scars and prejudices in a few weeks or a few months. Perhaps not even in a lifetime. The anger that our people held onto stretched back centuries. Our love alone would have likely never been enough to change their minds. I was prepared for that. I'd asked her to come with me to the mountain, but we each had duties to our kings that we weren't ready to disobey. I don't regret that. My uncle and brother and cousins needed me. Our people needed us. I couldn't turn my back on them. But I had hoped that when it was over, something would be different. Better. If the kingdom no longer needed me - if we'd all survived, Thorin would have been there to rule, and after him there would have been my brother - then I would have been free to do what I wanted. I could have followed my heart. I would have followed her anywhere. I wanted to show her all the things I'd seen. I wanted to watch her watch the moon rise over the mountains I once called home. I wish I could say it wouldn't have mattered what our people said, but it did matter. It simply wouldn't have changed my mind either. I had never been truly alone in all my life until I came here. Now I wasn't as ready to face disappointing my family as I thought I was. I've been angry, and afraid, and demanding in response. I wasn't sure how to be patient when we didn't know how much time we'd have. I wanted the life I knew I would never have in our world.

I wasted so much time on anger I found a place for a home that I think Tauriel would have liked. She wasn't made for living underground like I am, and she wanted to live among the trees, but now she's gone.


I think I'll build something anyway. So if she comes back, it's here, even if I'm not.

Hello, everyone. I have accepted Second in Command of Civilian Services. Podkru numbers are critically short in almost all of our Civilian Services. We are down to: 1 Food Service, 2 Dishwashers, 2 Teachers, 2 Child Caretakers. The only ones that did not lose the majority of their workers were Laundry Services and Sanitation, and even then, that is only 3 people each. Food Service is the most critical of these as, of course, we all must eat.

I am therefore proposing that each of us work at least one meal shift per week, with exceptions only for those ill, injured, or responsible for the care of someone who cannot care for themselves. Though I cannot require this of you, I hope you can recognise the importance and will contribute. There are simple food preparations that almost anyone could assist with, and anyone who is absolutely uncomfortable with that can at least help in portioning out and serving the food. I have pulled the records for prior meal plans and schedules so they can be scaled down accordingly for the current population.

I'm aware that many of you enjoy regular alcohol, and I occasionally imbibe myself, but there are now vastly more people brewing alcohol than preparing food. I'd ask that the brewers, in particular, consider transferring your work focus to the much more urgent food needs and take more than a single day's meal shift.

I'd also ask that anyone who can speed the dishwashing process, please give your assistance in spelling the dishes or otherwise helping this along. There isn't enough space at the washing stations for everyone to wash their own at every meal, therefore we need to continue to do them in bulk.

With the batch of Podkru we lost a month ago, it's become clear that we've lost quite a few positions. Several of our jobs are dangerously low on staff. Unfortunately, they're all pretty important to make sure this place runs. If anyone has any kind of experience or would like to switch positions (or even take a few hours volunteering), you would be so helpful.

The positions we're desperately in need of are:
