I hate to go all mushy just before a siege breaks, but maybe home's not a place. I didn't grow up in a romantic holovid life, so call it the smuggler in me...the one that grew up smuggling alongside pirates,and saved a wookie from Kessel and married the princess...

Yea, alright. It got a little mushy at the end. What I'm saying is: home isn't just a place. It's so much more than that. Let's remember that when we're all stuck in this damn rock together.

I too received a gift from this Pod God. Some foodstuffs from home but most importantly a large bottle of Thikkiian brandy. It's more than I can drink myself so I would be happy to share if the owners of the tavern would allow me to bring it there.

One warning. It is very strong, humans usually can't tolerate more than one drink before they pass out. However I believe there are a few people besides myself that would enjoy it. Thor Son of Odin, Sir Iron Bull, the two of you in particular I think would like it.

If the tavern has no objection, I will be there after the movies are done.

I don't understand all the customs of this place. Would someone explain to me what a Valentine's Day is?

Are there any people here that play instruments? It might be nice to have live music in the mess hall every so often if people are willing to play. Maybe even get an ensemble of folks together?

It seems that there is reason enough her to keep up defensive skills. Would anyone be willing to offer some training? I've done some on my own, but with such a strong group of people.. it seems wise to combine our resources.

Since there was some interest after my last post, I'll be offering knitting lessons Mondays after dinner. Anyone who wants to learn is most welcome.

Like Asala said we're gonna need a whole bunch of help if the dragon goes down.

So if we could get a few groups of people to:
* collect any tools we can use for butchering
* same for breaking the bones to store
* clear out some store rooms so we got some place to put the bones and skin until we know what we're doing with them
* helping out the kitchen with prepping the meat to use and be stored
