Had I known that might be my last cup of coffee here, I might have savored it more.

On the other hand, small children are an equally effective wake up.

Bones! So, Spock is off charting out the Northern settlement and the room is empty. And I know you're probably being your workaholic self, but if you wanted to crash here, there's a spare bed.

[Mapmakers: Alpha Squad (Annabeth Chase, Baelfire, and Jacob Frye)]
If you have read the Lieutenant General Adaar's announcement, then you know we are heading north to map the northern settlement's terrain. I must advise you that this will not be an easy assignment. I need to know that you are prepared for anything we may encounter. We will be on the frontlines against the Azgeda borders, and as we have seen, not all Grounders are amenable to our continued presence here.

Should you not feel up to this task, I can speak with Sergeant Lopez about reassignment.

I'd gotten used to my kid being potty trained. Now it's back to diapers but that's okay, she's none the worse for wear and that's all that matters.

Heard I missed some goblins. Can't say I'm very sad about that.

[Jim]

So that was fun. Apparently someone somewhere thinks we make a cute couple.

It is illogical. I never considered romantic lines, the sentiment of waking up without someone, to have any basis in reality. Yet, this is now my reality, and a strange one at that: to know that I have these memories that we will never share again. I thought that I had learned to manage this after Khan, but it was far easier then than now.

With Khan, I had a means to recourse. Now, I have only my thoughts, and a need to clear out our rooms that I have yet to act upon.

I am not skilled in the ways of this world, but I invite those who may be interested to join me in meditation. It may be easier amongst a group.

Mount Weather: Minerva McGonagall

Hello, everyone. I have accepted Second in Command of Civilian Services. Podkru numbers are critically short in almost all of our Civilian Services. We are down to: 1 Food Service, 2 Dishwashers, 2 Teachers, 2 Child Caretakers. The only ones that did not lose the majority of their workers were Laundry Services and Sanitation, and even then, that is only 3 people each. Food Service is the most critical of these as, of course, we all must eat.

I am therefore proposing that each of us work at least one meal shift per week, with exceptions only for those ill, injured, or responsible for the care of someone who cannot care for themselves. Though I cannot require this of you, I hope you can recognise the importance and will contribute. There are simple food preparations that almost anyone could assist with, and anyone who is absolutely uncomfortable with that can at least help in portioning out and serving the food. I have pulled the records for prior meal plans and schedules so they can be scaled down accordingly for the current population.

I'm aware that many of you enjoy regular alcohol, and I occasionally imbibe myself, but there are now vastly more people brewing alcohol than preparing food. I'd ask that the brewers, in particular, consider transferring your work focus to the much more urgent food needs and take more than a single day's meal shift.

I'd also ask that anyone who can speed the dishwashing process, please give your assistance in spelling the dishes or otherwise helping this along. There isn't enough space at the washing stations for everyone to wash their own at every meal, therefore we need to continue to do them in bulk.

Mr Albus Severus Potter, Mr Bucky Barnes, and Ms Sue Storm-- please see me tomorrow at 8 AM in 203 for an emergency meeting with the Skaikru who remain as Teachers and Child Caretakers.

Thank you.

I'm pretty sure you guys are all the last ones only people from your worlds now. I really, really don't want to be mawkish with people's personal items at all, but at least in your cases where there's someone who probably knows which bits are important I'm going to see if I can put them all at the bottom of the list and focus first on the people who didn't leave anyone behind. That still puts you on a deadline unfortunately but the only other thing I can offer is someone to ask if you want help from a stranger.

Apart from that I'm going to try to make sure that any obvious personal items will be labeled and put into a separate storage area in case the owners come back. But anything you can hold onto yourselves is so much the better.

[Martha]
By my quick count, there are thirty different worlds that we've just lost everyone from, and another ten where there's only one person left.

Mt. Weather network post

With so much upheaval over the last few days, I thought I would make myself available for anyone who wants to talk. I'll be around in the common area off the library after dinner most evenings except Tues and Wed when I have shift. Consider it a drop in group for anyone who has concerns or just needs someone to listen.

Brace yourselves. This is a lot to take in here.

Mount Weather's military divisions were hit hard in the recent large wave of departures. As our reduced population does nothing to reduce the size of the area we need to protect or the size of the threats we may face, we are reorganizing, consolidating, and calling up some additional volunteers to ensure the safety of our home and its citizens.

The Soldier and Guard divisions have been merged, and will share duties among three squads: Bravo, Charlie, and Echo. To maintain a 24-hour guard on Mount Weather, the Scout divisions will also be taking one shift per week, alternating days and nights. The Mapping division is being consolidated into one group, reporting to Sgt. Spock. We called up Fair Weather Friends, so you'll need to take a look at this if you've signed up for the position.

All Mount Weather Military members may find their current assignment and schedule in the following list:

Since I have my fencing gear now, I was wondering if anyone else here was interested in the sport. Or practicing sword fighting in general?

This is a depressing place to visit. It's not the worse I've ever seen but it doesn't exactly scream destination spot. Note to self: fire travel agent.

This pamphlet thing says there's a tavern around here. Anyone want to point me in that direction?

I am truly grateful to be out of medical quarantine. I do not know any more logical ways to teach a toddler how to sing "happy birthday." Jim, if you require a serenade, I know a very well-qualified child.

If you are amenable, I'd like to introduce my 3-D set at this Thursday's chess club.

It might not quite be summer, but the vernal equinox is passed, and that means the days are going to start getting longer again.

Unfortunately there's still a lot of snow and a madwoman turning people into snow. Doesn't she know we have land to survey for our maps? It's downright rude.

I will be in quarantine until Captain Kirk has recovered. I'd like everyone to review our current maps and offer suggestions about where we should go from here. With the weather changing, we will be starting on new work soon.

I was going to make a comment about people's parents being busy nine months ago, but then I realized that might be consider "conduct unbecoming an officer." So, let's pretend I'm following regs.

Dinner, tomorrow. We're all still here after the recent departures AND we have birthdays to celebrate. I can't promise cake, but I can promise a special surprise that Lauren and I have been working on.

Bring whoever else you want.

Man, I don't think I've fought like that in years. Rey, my hat goes off to you. You too Alistair. Congrats on winning it all. Felt like being back in Iowa, except it's a bit different to fight when there's no tables to throw someone over.

Starfleet
We should do a dinner or something soon.

Christineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, will you or Lauren kiss my boo boos better?

Sulu, you should start a fencing club here.

Spock, what are you doing tonight?
