I retired, you know. Just recently. And now I'm here. In this hellhole. No offense, if you like it here, but I was just married.

Literally. Ten minutes ago. And my wife isn't here. Do you know what I had to go through the last two seasons for my love? A lot. I had to die for it. Isabella was engaged to an eleven year old.

Now I have a twin not-brother and no princess. And Sid was right about metal zipper things and he's never going to let me live it down. This is where I would normally make threats, such a "bring my wife to me or I will slice through all of you" yet something tells me that wouldn't work. I need a drink.

This is so exciting! I really miss Hugo already so much it actually hurts (I was told he's not here?), but this is going to be an exciting adventure! I've always wanted to have one of those. A resolution is like a wish you can make true yourself, which makes it better than a wish, I think. I can't make resolutions for anyone else, but there's the good in each thing—— I can make wishes for other people, even if I can't make them come true. And I think wishes are best used if you scatter them like seeds, so here are a few: I hope someone will see the person they've been missing the most, I hope someone reads a book that makes them smile, and I hope someone who's been trying to whistle their whole lives will finally learn how to.

Well, Christmas happened, and we all got through it. Well done. Although I wonder if we wouldn't be better off to celebrate a different holiday at this time next year. Maybe not something for the Podsayer, but a general thanks for the people we have here, and for the shelter we have and the fact that we do have food, clothing, and loved ones surrounding us, even if they're new to us. Americans had their Thanksgiving, and maybe we should to, at Winter Solstice.
