So Skywalkers and Solos..I know you're here. I can have visitors but I have to spend the night in Medical since I'm kind of banged up. Maybe you can explain this place to me now that I'm a little calmer and more willing to listen.

I don't think I'll ever get used to people just disappearing. My condolences to everyone who lost someone today. There are a lot of us.

Forgive the much belated nature of this, but I owe you thanks for calming me down when I first arrived. And possibly an apology. I don't know what you Telepaths at home aren I've gathered that I'm not the only one to be pulled here from urgent business elsewhere.

If any of you have plans for Sunday, I'd be happy to barter for an extra shift.

MILITARY & COMMAND:

Surveillance spotted three disturbances just outside our perimeter. To the north, our intel indicates the presence of four frost giants. East south east, roughly 100 robots. West, orcs.

We're taking volunteers from our military ranks to form three separate teams to handle this. These teams will investigate the disturbances, and defend our home. From what I've been told about what's out there, you should expect hostility. The remaining military will then be assigned to the second and third lines of defense, as well as guard posts, to ensure all of the civilians within our walls are safe. You'll provide back-up, if necessary. Listen to your commanders' orders.

It should go without saying, but until we tell you otherwise, this information is strictly classified. There is no need to incite panic among the rest of the population if we can take care of this at a distance, and I have faith that we can. If these threats make it past our front line, we'll handle it. For now, we're concentrating on making sure they don't get close enough to breach our walls in the first place.

But what this is about right now is, I need you all to know. My girlfriend Reyna. She's on my squad. Command have okay'd it but if any of you have an issue with this. She'll have the same drills as the rest of you, she'll have the same missions and I've been fighting long enough to know that no one in the team is any more important than anyone else and I swear to god I don't play favorites when it comes to the job.

I'm Lois Lane, hailing from Metropolis. I'm usually a news reporter, but apparently I'll be channeling my talents into the radio and surveillance while I'm here. Which, I'm going to guess, involves reporting a lot of particularly interesting stories, being the radioactive apocalypse.

I'm not sure how many of you I know, but there are probably (hopefully) some. Either way, hello. Discovering the existence of alien planets and their alien people has me feeling a strange sense of here we go again instead of being as confused and panicked as I probably should be.

In talking with Maz I ended up mentioning that I have been working on learning techniques from a Force Priestess that would allow me to communicate wit hthe living after I died. It occurred to me though, do you know if I was ever successful in doing so?

Bravo group, I'm your Sergeant, Mara Jade Skywalker. Some of you I know quite well, others I know a bit from here, and some of you I don't know very well at all.

Since we'll be working together I thought it might be a good idea to get to know each other a bit better. Can you all tell me something about the world you're from, your experience at home, and what you think you'll bring to the team.

I'll go ahead and start by saying that I'm from the galaxy that probably some of you will know as Star Wars it seems. I grew up primarily on Coruscant, which was the center of the galactic empire at the time. I was trained to work as an undercover agent and did so until the Empire's collapse, at which point I worked for several smuggling groups and then the Republic, and I have most recently worked with the Jedi. I have tracking and stealth skills, as well as being a trained Jedi Master which are probably the most relevant skills here. I've worked with and led teams before and am looking forward to doing so again here.

Is there a group for those who like to knit? Because while I don't mind knitting alone, it is more fun to do it with others and share stories. I'm happy to teach anyone who wants to learn as well.


Also, my roommate and I are in search of paints of pigments. We might be able ot make our own, but I thought I would check to see if anyone had any they were willing to share first.
