So who is coming with me to karaoke so I can pester Mags into making me obnoxiously named cocktails? I might even sing, depends how drunk I get.

I know it's a school night, but it's almost the weekend.

All right, since everyone seems to be eager to take a ride, we're gonna figure out how to get Ben's bull set up at the bar. I'll let y'all know when it's ready to go. We'll have some rules once it's up and running, so I expect everyone to behave or we'll have to take the toys away. And the alcohol.

We've got karaoke tomorrow, and I've started to roll out new seasonal brews as they become available, so keep checking back for the new ones.

And if you haven't seen her yet, Maggie's back in town and she's got her old job back, so I'm sure she'd appreciate it if everyone came out to welcome her back properly.

So like, since I'm assuming we're preparing for battle, is this where the end-of-game/movie montages happen and everyone gets laid? Because seriously, think about it. The night or day before any major suicide mission/battle/fight whatnot, you know you've had some kind of life-affirming moment. It's the oldest trope in the book.

This is likely well beside the point, but while I've heard a lot of chatter recently about the White Witch's particular cruelty, or her mode of transport, or her aesthetic (very nice, very themed!), there's one aspect to her that's eluded me so far.

What does she want? Why target us? There's a whole sodding world out there, after all, that's likely less defended. What's she going to get out of it? Simple subjugation? Bragging rights? I've never been one to parse the motives of anything that I knew how to kill offhand, but as I'm well-mystified by this Witch, the question nonetheless stands.

Jim Kirk was admitted to medical with an infected wound, after an examination with Nurse Chapel. We're still attempting to isolate exactly what it is, but it's a nasty bugger. The things we know so far is that it's quickly spread and it's not responding to traditional antibiotics or magic.

As such, we've placed Mr. Kirk under a temporary quarantine here at the hospital, along with those he lives with. We very much apologize for any inconveniences this might cause, but I promise you we're going to attempt to make it as quick and painless as possible, it's only until we isolate the infection and figure out how contagious it is.

Better to be safe than sorry, I'm afraid. We'll be working overtime to come up with a treatment and cure, and monitoring anyone else that might have come in contact with Mr. Kirk. Bravo Squadron, please come to medical today for a full checkup. I don't want to have to hunt you down, but I will if I don't hear from you by noon. We don't believe it's that far spread, but as I said - better to be safe than sorry.

I plan on releasing a public statement when we know more of the symptoms, to follow up on this. If you're head of anyone in the military that receives a wound, please make sure they receive proper medical care. Any wound at all, even a small one. If anyone under your command becomes feverish or develops a rash, send them to us immediately.
