I generally expect you to find some amazingly clever and roundabout way to show your anger with someone. I also generally expect to be involved in some way. I'm going to assume there's a lot of private chatter going on about this, since I don't see any open discussions on this tablet. And since none of it is being directed at me, it probably means I'm a suspect already.

Anyway, you want to talk about it with your oldest friend? I may have scraped up at least one drink ration I'm not using. If not, just remember I offered later.

Okay, this is new. I mean not exactly, I've been to other worlds. Well... just one, a spirit world. But that's not this, and this isn't home, so.

Anyway, I'm Korra. I've been assigned to the Alpha team as a soldier, and I've got to say I've been in plenty of fights and my fair share of wars, but a formal soldier and military thing's a little different for me. Are there uniforms? I hope not

1. Any other elemental users here? We call them benders back home, but I guess that term won't get me too far here so I'll be more broad. People that can control fire, water, earth and air?

2. I asked already, but hoping that by chance she snuck in... Has anyone run into a woman named Asami? She's gorgeous, you can't miss her.

Here's to introducing myself a little more thoroughly. Is the military here more of a formality, or has it been established because it's frequently needed? I'm also willing to answer as much about myself as I need to to make you feel comfortable working with me.

I will admit to being slightly hungover after last night (and I need you all to please not talk so loud or walk near me or breathe or anything), but I'm not crazy in saying that there are many more short people today than there were yesterday, am I?

I swear on Maferath's hairy ass, I don't know how or why I keep ending up like this. One minute it's all jokes and drinks at the Hanged Man, the next it's waking up in some cold room with people pointing lights in your eyes and asking your name. Why do I keep ending up in the middle of the crazy shit? I've never said anything but positive things about Andraste's physical features.

No one tell the Seeker, but I could write a dozen books in half the time with something like this.

I'm sorry. Hello. I'm Warden Bethany Hawke, and I was told my brother is here, along with some others I might know, but the brother part seemed impertinent, as he sent me off past Orlais and hasn't answered any of my letters. Aveline wouldn't even let me get a pretty dress.

I have two big announcements:

One: Teamwork, ingenuity, magic, and dedication to the pursuit of quality drunkenness has granted us a glorious gift: the queen of all liquors, the water of life...whiskey. With a little help from Messeres Nico Minoru and John Constantine and Serah Kili the smith, we've been able to age it in magical barrels and have produced something that is, I dare say, quite drinkable.

Two: I realized that a name for the tavern's actually been staring me in the face this whole time, and I just didn't see it. The place is henceforth to be called The Rose. Feel free to ask me for the story on why, unless you're the type who hates mushy stuff - if that's the case, you'll only be disappointed.
