I'm quite sure you're all aware of my habit of cultivating stockpiles of ammunition for a rainy day. In addition to all the weapons I've got already, the pod dropped off another collection of Howard Stark specials, including:

A gamma cannon we used to seal zero matter into a different universe. It's got one charge to it, then it looks like the batteries are good and fried.

A tool that will more or less wipe a person's memory for a good several moments.

I've still got that bloody Midnight Oil, too

And I suppose the reason I'm telling you this is I trust you all to know it's here and make good decisions if it's ever needed. Otherwise, I'm sitting on it with no real use.

This is a predicament. I received a new prosthetic in the latest pod drop (Fitz does amazing work) but I think there might be some modifications necessary to my stump to make it work - if any of the scientifically oriented have the time to take on a small project. Just a matter of modifying what the arm attaches to on the stump. Bruce? Tony?

I wanted to take a moment to thank the Frye's for organizing Fight Club and Commander Shepherd for the training camp that's been so useful to a lot of us in practicing our skills and acquiring new ones. In that line, I was wondering if there'd be any interest in a sort of fight club but with weapons - swords, axes, staves - whatever your close combat weapon of choice is.

We could practice on a semi-regular basis and do a tournament of matches once a month if folks want.

Honestly, you're all just about the most fantastic configuration of misf individuals I've ever met. You're insanely talented, gifted and moreover passionate about justice. I've seen you route your energy to beat the bloody snot out of one another and then, turn about to defend your space and it's really quite something.

I admittedly miss my friends. I miss Howard Stark's mad hatting capabilities, though you should all be quite glad he's not here. We'd have a lot of trouble on our hands otherwise. I also frequently think about Mr. Jarvis and his wife Ana, the latter who I'd only recently met. I'm glad they have time to themselves - I wouldn't dare separate them - but they have that air of familiarity and camaraderie I'm only beginning to build with all of you. They know the world as I know it.

There are others, of course. Rose and Angie, Dum Dum and even bloody Jack Thompson. They know me as I am known. And I cannot hope for their presence here.

My writing this is simply to say I hope you do not lose heart. Women such as this Jadis merely serve to remain in hiding to garner power and wear away at the nerves of those who would seek to subdue her. It's what I would do, anyway, if I were a megalomaniacal half-giantess witch.

I've got a debriefing on what happened out there, so I need as much information from you all as I can get, in case I missed anything.

We arrived at the coordinates and discovered about ten dead bodies and six frozen statues. All of the frozen were mid-attack, and all the dead had frost bite, which tells me they got it before they died. There were tracks everywhere and then disappeared into freshly fallen snow. I think I recognized one of the dead, but I couldn't place them. Did anyone else see anyone they recognized?

Does anyone else have anything to add?

So, I think it's fair to say I haven't always been the best about sharing in the past. On a scale of totally cool to super awkward, thought on how weird it would be for me to bring my girlfriend Phoebe to one of the dinners we have so you can have a chance to get to know her.

So! A lot of folks have indicated they'd be interested in learning sabacc, so we're organizing a weekly thing - especially since I think we might have two complete decks. Wednesdays starting tomorrow, we'll have a weekly tournament / playing session.

Here's your chance to try and take on Han Solo or any members of the Rogue Squadron! The first hour will be an explanation of rules and some lessons along with the modifications we'll be using since we don't have a suspension field here. We'll have both beginner and advanced levels and we'll do static paper decks for beginners so you don't have to worry about cards changing values for now.

Auditions for Little Shop of Horrors are tomorrow, so tonight we'll be watching the movie version in the 501 commons after dinner. The endings are very different (I assume Alison's sticking to the script of the musical) but it will give you an idea of what it's all about, anyway. It's not really what I'd call a family movie, but kids down to about 12 who've been dealing okay with everything here will probably be okay as long as they know going in it's a bit dark.

If anyone has a classic movie from the 80s they'd particularly like to see next week, let me know.

Daisy made a good point last night. Whether it's board games or dinner, we should regroup. This place might not be home, but I still don't want to lose any of you. So let's get the cards on the table and figure out how we can do what we do best - helping and protecting people.

We had a lot of losses today. Fitz, Simmons, Ward, Kara. But we also have an opportunity to re-connect. The four of us have memories of the same things that happened and while we all disagree on the outcomes, I think the truth is the setting doesn't matter. We'll disagree. But what holds us together is our desire to protect people and to make good outcomes for a world that needs us.

What we need to take advantage of is the chance to course correct. And I'm not really sure how to do that, because I think challenging you all to a game of monopoly would ultimately piss us all off and also who has four hours to fuck around? Not me. But I know a pretty good game that we can play. Bring some coffee and come to our place if you want.
